Think Kingpin decided to invest in The Daily Bugle after the stinger from FFH, deliberately furthering JJJ's smear campaign (Without JJJ knowing the true reasons) as part of a plot to distract and discredit Spiderman, ensuring that he doesn't come across any of Kingpin's operations. And, if SM4 will be adapting elements of Devil's Reign, we can also lift the element of Kingpin determining that his memories were altered and that he no longer knows the identity of a particular vigilante, motivating him to go after all NY Vigilantes. What do you think of that?

I remembered the last Spider-Man movie I saw in which three different Spiderman were showcased which so hyped, mainly in 04th part what were they actually planning from where the story arts, or did they create a team just like the Avengers to protect the world from a villain.

Those guys might be a strong probability. On a related subject, what do the posters on this thread think about Zendaya returning for SM4. I think it's all but confirmed, based on reports and recent news. Does everyone else feel the same way about Zendaya returning?

They didn’t really say they’d bring him back. Sounds like the interviewer said they should and then they just said it’d be a good idea.

Yeah , I think at the very least , Sony and Marvel are considering them given their past history with them.

As far as Zendaya goes , yeah , she's definitely gonna be in it imo.

I would prefer MJ be absent ,and they move onto Peter meeting someone else like Black Cat .

But given that it's taken Marvel and Sony a longer time to get the wheels turning this film, and it will likely be 4 to 5 years since NWH when SM4 is released,
they may not want to keep putting off reuniting Peter and MJ after a 4 to 5 year gap between NWH and SM4 .

But if the rumors are true about Black Cat being apart of the film anyway, than it's possible he'll be torn between MJ and Black Cat , though, I doubt MJ will be single when she sees Peter again.

But I'm speculating.

I couldn't agree with you more. If SM4 was coming out this year, I might not have had an issue with Zendaya being absent until the post-credits or having a minor role in this one, similar to Homecoming. But real life occurs. All these posters on Reddit don't seem to get that. And there's also the possibility that SM5 will take place after Secret Wars, where there may be some more drastic changes to the Sacred Timeline. Hell, if resolving the memory issue is too tricky and Sony was willing, maybe they could have the second trilogy take place after Secret Wars, with Peter and MJ making cameos among the crowd or in the streets similar to this scene from X-Men '97:

Maybe just having MCU Peter and MJ standing together on the street for one scene or two would be more than enough for now.

I'm thinking July or December 2026 now.

Anyway, I'm kinda relieved Sony isn't fast tracking this for December 2025. I thought earlier this year, it would be possible.

One of the latest speculation, and rumors from scoopers, involves Spiderman 4 being released between Avengers : Doomsday and Secret Wars .

The speculation is that the film would be taking place on Battleworld, and would no doubt be a multiverse film with Andrew and Tobey.

Apparently, the original Spiderman / Kingpin/ Daredevil street level stuff is being saved for a later Spiderman film post Secret Wars.

Taking all of these rumors with a salt shaker, and speculating , I could actually see this being the case for a few reasons:

* With Marvel shifting focus to finishing out the Multiverse Saga, A street level Daredevil and Kingpin Story in between the two Avengers films is likely untenable
under Marvel's new direction and plans.

* It already dovetails with Sony's desire for a multiverse Spiderman film , and it's a much more natural way to bring Back Tobey and Andrew than the Daredevil story would be.

* At the same time, it opens the door to the appearance of characters like Hardy's Venom and Miles Morales appearing in the film.

* It could potentially resolve the whole issue of the Memory Spell ,with all of these multiverses being condensed into Battleworld , thus this might be a way MJ gets her memories back.


Again , I'm just speculating .

Whether it's a good idea for Spiderman 4 to potentially be a Battleworld film is a different issue .
