So... Yea. Who here is actually going to buy spiderman edge of time? For me, if anything its maybe a rental. I was just so dissapointed that beenox couldnt give us variety.

Absolutely not buying it. Got bored of Shattered Dimensions by Deadpool. They should have just made a Spider-Man Noir game, I'd buy that **** in a heartbeat.

Thats exactly what i was hoping for. I love the vulture level. Because of the connection spidey had with toomes. Very creepy. I would love an open world spidey 2099 too. Free fall when ever yu desire!

I think that the 2099 city is too complicated to be made in to a free roaming game

Why not? He's going to be different anyway, like all the others.
Maybe he could have been the first Spider-Man of that universe, but he took the wrong path, so his powers corrupted his body.

Legend of the Spider-Clan is great, with a great alternate Venom, that doesn't mean I'm not tired of him being overused

It's just an idea to bring Venom that I find interesting to see how Spidey would react to that.
Venom is big. If they want to do a Noir version of him, then all the power to them.

Well, no. I had a Gamecube and the proper controllers, but they were stolen with the majority of my gaming stuff. Right now, I'm playing it on Wii.

$1 is all that game worth. You played that one before?

Only when I was twelve or so. Even if it is bad (I like it, personally), I have more faith in this five dollar purchase than a purchase I made for the same amount of the Fight Club game. Hoo-boy.

Hmmm. I have that same game. I thought it was the hardest game ever when I first played it, so if you do play it, keep trying. I can beat it in a few hours now, but did anybody else find it hard when they first played it?

I would have no problem having Venom in another game now that we kinda had a break from him with SD. I just don't want Venom to be a main character that overshadows others.

The SM Movie game? Nah not terribly difficult. There were a few levels that were a pain in the ass like crawling through Oscorp and avoiding the lazers and that Vulture level where you had to climb the burning tower. Other than that though, I found it pretty easy.

I remember that game. I love the directional attacks and the unlockables, from alternate costumes to playing as Green Goblin. That was fun.

I remember for some reason, I found the Shocker level SO hard. :L

It's relatively easy with the power-ups, if you know what you're doing.

Unless it would be similar to how you can play as Joker in the challenge maps in Arkham Asylum, it would be too much IMO. Playing him in the story mode would give him too much of the spotlight again.

I disagree. You wouldn't be required to play as him, so if you don't want to play as Venom, you don't have to.

I know. You were talking about what happened in another universe. I wanted to keep focus on Noir.

That same Spider-God could have created Venom, it's what I'm saying. I think it'd be interesting and it'd be a nice rival to have.

I like the idea of that; as long as venom actually still has a reason to be spideys nemesis. Why would he have a deep hatred for spidey?

Well, perhaps he doesn't, initially, like Sandman didn't, or the Goblin. Spidey gets in their way and so they become enemies. The interesting would be their interaction as Spider-Men, but they follow different paths.

Maybe. What I think is attractive in that idea is that Venom would have been through similar things that Spidey has gone through and has more experience. Spidey could see him as a mentor figure, but then he wouldn't agree with Venom's actions as he finds out more about him.

That doesn't mean he wouldn't be. He has the same powers, have been like that for way longer than Peter, but took a darker and more erroneous path. It's essentially what Peter would do if he had taken the wrong way, too.
In the end, it'd serve as a lesson for Peter and an example he should never follow, or he'd become like Venom.
