Did you guys know that Josh Keaton originally did the voice work for Peter/Spidey in that game, but Tobey took over for it in the end and they used Josh's recordings for Harry Osborn's Green Goblin character?

A whole new console generation later, a first person Spidey game actually has a lot of potential.

Although it would be better if you could switch between the two views.

Agreed. Josh Keaton has a great voice for Spider-Man, and it's a shame that TSSM didn't last longer.

I loved what they did with the villains. Its version of Venom, in particular, design aside, might be my favorite incarnation of the character from all mediums.

I have doubts we would have seen Carnage. He doesn't work well in a show that's intended to be watched by children, as Spider-Man: The Animated Series proved.
Agreed about everything else.

Oh, really? I am mistaken. I don't see how they would have done Carnage, however, without breaking the character, such as what happened in SM:TAS. And I really wouldn't want to see Venom team up with Spider-Man.

Well, after all they can get away with more nowadays than in the 90s, so I think they would've been able to pull Carnage off{he'd still be toned down of course}.

Well, after all they can get away with more nowadays than in the 90s, so I think they would've been able to pull Carnage off{he'd still be toned down of course}.

That's the thing: You cannot really tone down Carnage very much without compromising the character. The entire point of the character is that he's a serial killer with the power of a symbiote. A man who inhabits the darkest part of the human soul with power from beyond the stars.
