Goodness.

It’s crazy how big those webshooters are
That's my only issue with this suit. I'm guessing they're trying to show how they've become less streamlined and more pieced together given Peter's current lack of resources. If not for that, you could make a legitimate case that this is the best Spider-Man suit we've gotten in live action.

Yeah, it's odd that they're so large. They're bulkier than the ones on his Homemade suit in Homecoming. I do appreciate that these new ones share similar design elements, though. Nice touch to keep Peter's own designs consistent.

They're not quite as big as the Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man web shooters, though:

yeah it’s a small detail in the scheme of things lol but it’s just funny how prominent they are in these set pics.

Great costume though; and just happy that this doesn’t seem to be another multiverse movie

I don't understand that mindset, tbh. These suits are in real life. Real life clothing and fabrics need to have wrinkles or else you get an uncanny valley effect.
The previous films didn't have the costume all wrinkley as far I know. Adding fixes post-prod to the costume is nothing new.

TASM2 has the most convincing CGI Spider-Man to date and it's largely because they simulated the suit cloth wrinkling, fluttering during free fall etc.
The CGI Spidey in Homecoming was quite a noticable downgrade.

Oh damn. They were testing some practical web swinging this morning on that rig they've got around the tank. That's pretty sweet to see them do again.

Edit: And they just started shooting with the tank moving and Spidey on set. That's super cool.

Well they did that too previously, but they always end up replacing it with a digital double. Is like they go nuts in post-production and everything is replaced with CGI.

I'm not super stoked that Marvel moved Cretton over to Spider-man, but dude made a beautiful looking Shang Chi full of some great practical action, so I'm excited to see what he does with Spidey, both on the fighting and the swinging

And I'm giving those web shooters a chance... maybe he's got more old school spidey gadgetry like impact webbing and stuff that requires the big chunky shooters
