I don't see how people thought RBJ was left field or bad. It's perfect. I remember looking back at the boards when he was cast and people weren't sure. I thought it was a no brainer.

Oh yeah, that was one of the main problems people had with him. I don't know why they couldn't figure out that height is an easy fix in the movies. I mean Paltrow is a lot taller than RDJ but you never notice on screen.

Anyway, I didn't have a problem with RDJ being cast as Stark after it was announced. A few inches aside, I thought he looked enough like Stark that, with the right approach, it could work. Which it did, beautifully. And I always figured Tony was more in his late 30s/early 40s.

Yeah I know. He looks exactly like Stark, personality, everything, you can't have picked a better actor, plus with RBJ's past it's just perfect.

I'm expecting some more even better acting from RBJ in the next one if they go with the Demon in a Bottle storyline.

I think they are because they said the set designer had to design a toilet where Stark throws up in it in his armor.
