It's weird for me... I love the CG suit, but when his suit wasn't CG, it took me out a little bit.

The transitions between live action and CGI in Spider-Man 2 are nearly flawless. Specially when Doc Ock is on the clock tower, when one of the tentacle goes up, is all CGI.
Sure, there's some dodgy stuff, but 2004!, some of those stuff still look great today.

Loved this film so I’m not bashing on it but I don’t think they got the physical suit’s look quite right. In its texture and fabric. When it’s real and not CGI, it relies a bit much on some slight CGI work to polish it and give it a nice “sheen”. The ATM scene when he’s calling them out is a good example. The Raimi’s and ASM’s both had suits that looked fine when just being photographed. They had that “Hollywood magic” look to them.

In the trailers, when Spidey is hugging the top of the Washington Monument, it looks like that’s really Tom in the suit with enhanced CGI but the final product looks like they removed him completely and it’s entirely CGI which is unfortunate because the shot in the trailers looked fine.

I read somewhere that Eric Carroll said they knew they had to clean up the suit with post work—something about changing the way the head looked in comparison to the body. Anyway, I hope for the sequel they improve on this.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the movie, but the CG stuck out in a lot of scenes. Hopefully with a bigger budget for the sequel, it'll improve.

Why would they slash the budget for this movie compared to the others when it's now a joint Sony and Marvel movie?

Because the brand has been damaged. Spider-man is basically the poster-child for reboots.

Yeah, the previous two movies really damaged faith in the franchise, so the slashed budget was this movie's "training wheels" so to speak.

Will a Spiderman film ever have a main female villain...?

......or even a main Faora type henchwoman.

So.. was the training program was meant to allude to this?

I can't think of a single high profile female villain for Spider-Man, but for a Faora type we might get Calypso.

This poster, created by artist Craig Drake, will only be availalble to those attending New York Comic Con this weekend starting tomorrow up through October 8th, and, even then, only if you pre-order the movie on DVD or Blu-Ray at the special photo op booth Sony will have set up at the convention.

I am suspecting there may be some gender -bending for a top baddie or two. Marvel already did it for Ghost and Amy Pascal has been know to do so.

Lucky Comic Con goers. :csad:

Also I'm sure some of you have already seen this but a deleted scene from the movie can be viewed online, it's a scene that refers to Winter Soldier. It's got unfinished effects so the scene isn't fully completed.

I don't like Spiderman homecoming movie. because Tom Holland is too young for this movie. I like Peter Parker as Spiderman............

I mean, Peter started his career as a superhero as a teenager. I don't think it's right to say Tom is too young for this movie when that's exactly the type of age he should look in this film.

If you prefer an older Spider-Man that's fine, but he's meant to be a teenager in this film.

I could see Silver Sable being a prominent villain in one of these movies, but not a main one.

Nothing in your post makes any kind of logical sense whatsoever.

Why would they slash the budget for this movie compared to the others when it's now a joint Sony and Marvel movie?

As others have said, its cause the last few movies did poorly in Sony's eyes. And yes even though this was a joint Marvel Studios/Sony movie, it wasn't like Marvel chipped in for half the budget. Sony was still footing the bill.

Just wanna ask you a question, if I want to be like a peter parker this costume is perfect for me or can I see some other stuff?

Yeah...Peter is in high school, so we're talking like 15, 16 years old. Hell, I graduated at 17, so technically, Holland is too old. He's actually 21.

It's obvious English isn't his first language, but Holland looked absolutely perfect age wise. Idk wtf he wanted...a Spider-Man still sucking on his momma's teet?

Quite the opposite really. I believe they want Peter to be Spider-Man.

Oh, is that what he was saying? That he wanted him to appear older? Nah...they hit the nail on the head with how he looks age wise. He still looks really young for his age which is good. I know he wants to keep playing him as long as they'll let him, so he set himself up good for that opportunity.
