No Way Home Spider-Man: No Way Home Spoiler Discussion Thread

And I loved Tobey getting his back cracked by Andrew, and just their general banter. Tobey had shades of the Peter B. Parker from the animated version, but still had its own voice. Really both returning Spider-Men were so charming. Felt like a real love letter to both.

I feel like Tobey Maguire’s Peter Parker became a school teacher like from the JMS early 2000s run. Andrew Garfield is doing web design for the Daily Bugle, still amidst of the zaniness of his universe.

I know they couldn’t fit everything in one movie but I thought it would’ve been funny if Tobey Spidey had a scene with MCU Jameson.

“Oh wow kid your JJ is just as loud and wrong as my JJ!”
A meeting of the two Jamesons would have been a great post-credits scene. The irrational part of my brain held out hope that we'd see some of the supporting characters from the Raimi movies in this. Imagine how bat**** insane it would have been if after Tobey's Peter came through the portal at Ned's house, his landlord came charging after him demanding rent.

"RENT!!! WHERE IS MY MONEY?!"

"....Mr. Ditkovich, I moved out over ten years ago."

I was hoping for a scene where JJJ reacted to all 3 Spider Men. Instead of having Tom call the Bugle have them "invade" the Bugle or just have Toby say hey to JJ.

I was wondering what Tobey-Peter was referring to when he said he'd been stabbed before, then I remembered that in SM3 he shrugged off that sudden gut-stab from Harry.

That actually would’ve been hilarious.

Not gonna lie, I was half expecting to see Kirsten Dunst, but alas…

Honestly, if it were me, I would have included an end credit scene with 3 JJ's doing the Spidey finger pointing meme

Something I really thought was going to happen but didn't end up happening was Mysterio being revealed to have survived the events of Far From Home and faked his own death to become the sixth villain in the pseudo "Sinister Six" that this movie almost had.
I'm sure they'll reveal that in one of the next films, I don't buy for a second that Mysterio is actually dead.

Man, that was an amazing film.
Now that they seem to be going back to basics, I wonder if we’re going to see MCU versions of the villains that appeared here or if they’re just going to do villains we haven’t seen yet.

It’s going to be interesting seeing Spidey interact with some of the Avengers. I guess they’ll remember Spider-Man but not Peter. And I’m really interested to see what exactly Strange remembers about this multiverse spell he did.

That would have been amazing. Throw a quip about not trusting the barber and JJJ in the Spider Man costume from Raimi SM2

I thought they kinda did that in the scene when they put their heads together in the Statue of Liberty about how to attack Sandman/Electro lol.

That whole exchange was hilarious. Especially when they talked about the Avengers.

ETA: you said 3 JJ’s and not Spidey’s and I can’t read. My bad lol

I'd imagine we won't see MCU versions but I hope I'm wrong in some regards. I really wanted a new and better take on Lizard :(

People said they saw Rhino and Scorpion reflections or something at one point at the end but that's something I'll have to catch when I see it again

Just got out of my second viewing and enjoyed it even more this time. I didn’t have an expectations and was just able to digest the film. The story is better than I first thought. I’ll bump it up to an 8.5/10! Huge reactions for T&A!

Loved the ending in the Raimiverse-like Apartment , listening to the police scanner on his cellphone, swinging out in the homemade costume into the snowy Manhattan night.

Peter's thinking like , " Well, now it's time to grow up".

I loved it.

Yeah, I love where he’s at by the end of the film.

I liked the (re) introduction of Matt Murdock. I believe he can fit PG-13 quite well, not a problem.
It was a very natural, understated scene that introduced him in a good way without distracting from the film itself. I look forward to seeing more of him.
