No Way Home Spider-Man: No Way Home Spoiler Discussion Thread

I don’t think we’ll see Zendaya again. She kinda strikes me as someone who wants to move on to more serious acting and directing projects.

They need to do a interview/photoshoot with all 3 when the movie is out.
I can see Andrew on board but Tobey seems like to be out of the spotlight. We will probably eventually get an Assembled episode with them, but I doubt anything with a press tour.

Can we talk about for a second Holland's ACTING in that final fight with the Goblin?! Holy cow the look of pure rage on Holland Pete's face as he's preparing to knock the living s*** out of Norman was chilling.

If they ask her. I think she will come back. I think she does care about her character.

While this movie had its highs and lows for me, I really do think it ended quite strongly.

Loved the slow burn of the ending, and was very happy that we didn't get another comedic/quick cut ending like Homecoming or Far From Home. The new suit looked cool, but maybe too bright of a blue? Very minor nitpick, but I loved the idea that it's hand-stitched and its a back-to-basics Spider-Man.

I really thought the apartment itself was going to be a one-for-one remake of Tobey's apartment in Mr. Ditkovitch's building--I even thought we were going to get a brief cameo, but happy to see that wasn't the case. It would have been fun, but too light-hearted for the somewhat somber tone of the finale.

I'd love to see Holland's Parker teaming with Daredevil in the next film to take on Kingpin and Mr. Negative. Throw in Felicia Hardy as Black Cat and I think you've got a movie there. New supporting characters can be Hobie Brown as Peter's college friend at Empire State. Maybe throw in some of the newer faces from the Dan Slott / Horizon Labs era, and it'd be great to see an Ultimate-inspired Jean DeWolffe.

Other heroes Spidey can team up with -- Shang-Chi or Wolverine (when he's recast).

BTW. I loved intro for this film, I mean the whole "dude, dude, dude, dude" was ugh... But overall, editing, direction, music (Talking Heads!!!) was just on point, even that quick shot with Flash was funny for some reason, his outfit was dumb, no one dress like this, but it was funny, that kind of humor I like.

I have to admit, the second Tobey appeared, I wished he had been in it more. I could have taken a whole movie of him teaching the other Spider-Men. I really really loved the three of them in the lab, and Maguire mentions thinking about a cure for the Oz formula and pondering it for years.

It was amazing hearing people go crazy when Tobey appeared onscreen. The only other time I remember such an epic reaction was when Cap lifted Mjolnir.

Absolutely loved this movie! Best Marvel content of the year. Dafoe was my personal highlight what a wonderful performance also even though he’s my least favorite Peter and was in the 2 worst Spider-Man movies Garfield is my favorite Spider-Man and would love to see a continuation to his films with a better writer, director, and substantially less studio interference. I feel with Holland nearly killing Gobbie at the end and the left behind bit of symbiote they’re definitely setting up black spidey for the next movie.

Tobey should have said "That's cool, but vengeanace is not the solution. Maybe you could call yourself something like The Defenders"

For a split second i thought Tobey was gonna say, “Thats awesome! I have an Avengers on my world too!”

Actually I thought they missed a golden opportunity when meeting Dr Strange for Tobey to say "Hey I got a Dr Strange too". Would've been a fun nod to the throwaway line when JJJ was trying to come up with Doc Ock's name in Spider-man 2. Also would've been a nice hint of Dr Strange seeing other versions of himself in his upcoming movie.

I thought maybe Maguire and Garfield would allude to villains/stories we didn’t see on screen too, like Maguire fighting his own Dr. Connors, etc. Could have been cool.

So what’re the implications for the “cured” villains & their universe? More specifically, the Raimi-verse. Because Goby and Doc Ock were pulled from their respective Act IIIs, right? But Tobey Maguire Spider-Man is from now/present day. Is his universe now drastically altered with a now-human Norman Osborn, and an in-control Doctor Octopus?

About 5 years ago the perfect photo edit was made to a perfect suit. Last night, it was a reality.

Ah I want Sony to release a still of the final swing, like a “Happy Holidays from your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” type of deal.
