So, question, how did the FBI dude who was interrogating Peter in the beginning know that Nick Fury was offworld?? Nick's disappearance is not common knowledge as far as I know especially with Talos impersonating him.

I think the Skrulls have infiltrated the government. I think we'll get more answers on that during Secret Invasion. I'd imagine they're after something pretty valuable and waiting for the right moment.

Seeing all the villains interact and banter with each other was one of my favorite aspects of the movie. ****ing hell Molina Doc and Dafoe Osborne together! I didn't think it would be possible.

Understandable but the uncle Ben deaths in SM1 and TASM were after spending less than 10 minutes of screentime with each of the characters so I know you couldn’t have gained too much of an emotional attachment to either of them either.

Apples and oranges. After Far From Home I began to feel callous about this take on May, and that carried over to this movie . I think they did an okay job with her in No Way Home, but at that point it was only enough to nudge me back to neutral indifference.

Raimi on the other hand had a clean slate with SM1 and made fantastic use of the little screentime Ben had.

I just had a thought, is Stark Enterprises still being sued into oblivion at the end of this movie? Or did people forget about the drones somehow and they are let off the hook since no one knows who Pete is? Also was there any point to Peter not telling Happy that May was a family member of his when asked how he knew her? I don’t think it would have mattered to much that Happy didn’t know his casual fling’s nephew all that well.

It would have been great to have them team up on the bridge when they’re first introduced. Doc Ock would recognize Green Goblin, but not know he’s Osborn.

Then, when it’s later discovered Osborn is crazy, Ock can try to help him through to redemption and they temporarily battle on the Statue of Liberty.

I assume they made a physical costume for the final scene. I don't want another Civil War/Homecoming situation where they start with a CG suit and then when they try to replicate it physically it doesn't look as good.

I hope it looks like that in the next movie and they don't change it much.

Edit: I'm not sure if they would make a real costume just for one short scene. It might be cgi.

I used to joke around that Tom's Spider-Man had the easiest when compared to his fellow predecessors. This film definitely changed that perception. To lose his beloved aunt and be wiped away from everyone else's memories is just brutal.

I like that Aunt May took the Uncle Ben role in the MCU but it would have been nice to see his gravestone next to hers at the end of the film. Like she’s finally together again with her Ben—don’t even to make it a moment for Peter; he’s fully focused on May’s grave as she’s the emotional relationship we’re invested in as the audience. It’s just something the audience sees.

would end up being polarizing in fandom and would result in the usual type of divisive fan discourse we've seen in some other cbm and fantasy films in recent years.

Particularly , I thought alot of fanboys would lose it over killing Aunt May off, but actually, people seem fine with that creative decision and very satisfied and pleased with the ending , so that's a nice change of pace in fandom.

I really loved how the film ended and where it's left Peter going forward.

What drives that scene is the brilliant acting from Tom, which should be nothing new at this point. That kid made that scene. There is no substance or depth to the relationship she has with Peter in this world.

I actually think that made it easier for fans to take. In some ways the fact that they chose to just make her the milfy aunt the entire series kind of helped it be less polarizing for the fans to see her go….simply cause no one cared.

The emotional weight of that scene is 100 percent carried by the greatness of Tom. It’s a testament to him that he could make anyone care about losing a character who really offered nothing to the MCU Spider-Man.

She was hot though….

It just seemed strange that even Aunt May never mentioned him once throughout the trilogy. They're making Uncle Ben presence in Peter's life very vague.

I don't think we'll know until Marvel or Sony pulls that card out of their back pocket.

Dude that even made her personality in NWH hot. The way she was kicking Happy out of the apartment in the beginning talking about “this was just a fling”. You could really assess that situation and tell they had just finished getting it on. It’s like she had just had her way with him and was tossing him out. If only we could all be that lucky…

You truly do feel horrible for Happy though when Goblin finishes her off. The way he’s staring at her as the cops are cuffing him. He knows he will never have fun with aunt milfy again. As a man, we’ve all been there. You meet that chick, you have a crazy night but deep down you know you will never see her again. It’s hard to take…

To me, that’s the true heartbreaking element to that scene. It’s not Peter who’s suffering it’s Happy…and as a man we share his pain in that moment…
