So what's the deal here with Doc Ock's arms? It looks like either he's like... absorbed the suit nanites, somehow.

Or Peter has used the suit to cover and bind his arms in order to control them? (Since the arms are still red when he's in captivity.)

I read the leaks, There’s a reason for that:

Potential spoilers ahead:

Apparently rumor has it that Doc Ock is still a good guy and he’s actually being controlled by Green Goblin using technology he stole from Stark Industries.

If they ever were to show T & A this would’ve been the time to do it. If they’re somehow revealed in a random TV spot…then idk what to say tbh.

Regarding that scene with MJ at the end, I'm really hoping
Tom fails to save her and Andrew comes in to save her, as a sort of redemption moment from Gwen's death.... that would just be *chef's kiss*
I like it. Seems obvious, but I didn't think of it.

The new trailer officially piqued my interest.

But now I'm impatiently waiting to see Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire dammit! :argh:

An impression I got from the trailer is that there's still a lot they're not showing us, and not just the obvious. For example, we were shown relatively little of the Green Goblin, but according to the leaks, which have been proven to match up to what we've seen so far, he's the movie's main antagonist. So there's definitely more to him than what we've seen.

Also regarding the CGI I don't think it looks that much worse than most other MCU flicks, which isn't saying much. Even Shang-Chi, a movie I enjoyed, had some spotty CGI.

I have to assume it’s right after Goblin kills a certain loved one and right before he starts beating the holy crap outta the Goblin for it.
Maybe that's why Green Goblin wears a more damaged suit and goggles lqter.

Boy, Sony must have been really, really confident that they would be able to get them in there at the end, unwilling to edit up a second trailer in case Disney said no.

I dub it the blue balls trailer.

I think Ock's arms absorbed some of the nanites from Peter's suit has some splotches in it.

From the structure of the trailer I am starting to wonder about the actual screen time for Tobey and Andrew. Granted the trailer was kind of edited as a complete mess with some of the pacing but it does have me worried about how much we will actual see them. I really hope that Tobey and Andrew aren't just simply brought in at the end for a fight sequence.

The trailer seems to be leading in that direction.

It feels like they are going to be introduced later than we might have hoped.

OK, watched the trailer again. Weirdly, my hype is back. Maybe I looked past my reservations and just took it as it is. I think my problems with it weren't necessarily the content and more with the way it was put together.

I thought that too. I thought it was a dead giveaway because it looked like he was wearing the iron spider suit but he’s not. So who knows would be a good moment though.

The stuff with Ock and Goblin I really liked. I also really like the shot of the red going up Ocks tentacle. My thing about this trailer is that there definitely seems to be so much they're hiding and that's kinda why the editing feels messy here.

Christ on a stick, I hope that rumor is true! Doc Ock helping the other Spidey’s out in the final battle by fighting the Fearsome Four with them sounds badass. It also lines up with the scene in the trailer where Ock is being fired at by Electro.

With this rumor in mind, I predict that Ock will fight GG, ending in Gobby killing him, but making another huge sacrifice to help Doctor Strange put the multiverse back in check.

Same. It's growing on me.

Also, folks really starting to believe Tobey and Andrew are only in the climax? Sony's concealing them for a reason, guys.

The only thing that truly worries me is the possibility of most (if not all) of the villains being thrown in there for generic action purposes without any real character development whatsoever. It will really make or break this movie for me.

I think Gobby and Ock will be developed. Which are the 2 I care most about, so that's good. I don't much care if Lizard or Electro get minor development.

Kind of hoping we do have 6th villain, and that ends up being Mysterio
