A screenplay I've written, about Spider-Man. This is set after Amazing Spider-Man #6 and is merely a "test" to see what I can write script wise. (So feel free to be as harse as possible.)

The plot is about Peter discovering what Spider-Man is all about, and the villains that despise his existence. It is a partial adaption of the Spectacular Spider-Man, along with material taken from Ultimate Spider-Man, SM: TAS, and the original comics.

The main villain is unrevealed, although J Jonah Jameson is considered one of the villains. I hope I get a lot of feedback to improve the script. And it is not Green Goblin or Doctor Octopus. (Or Venom, Carnage, Lizard, or Kingpin.) I can say nor Mary Jane or Gwen Stacy are in this script.

The title will be Spider-Man: Chill of the Night. And it will feature two B list villains and one A list villain. The A list one will be at the begining to showcase Spider-Man's powers. The Main villain, (who could POSSIBLY be Jack O' Lantern), will be a main villain. It will also feature a cast from the old comics, from ASM 1 to ASM 10.

That sounds cool, dude. I like the focus you got on the time period, keep us posted!

I've ben trying to decide what part of the ultimate comics I want to use, (I know I want it to play some part), so I decided to have it as a period piece, setting it in the 1960's, with the Ultimate Mysterio taking place instead of the regular 616, as it'll fit the mood of the story.

And, since it is a period piece, it will be featuring the technology of that age. (So no high tech spidey suits for those who were hoping for them), and the costume will be the Alex Ross suit, even though it takes place around ASM 6.

Mindworm is a confirmed B list villain for the script, (the second draft), as I want to limit it to two MAIN villains.

Also, I will be showing the treatment for the first draft, just to get a few laughs: (Everything is subject to change, from the intro to the climatic lagoon battle on horse back)...

“Spider-Man: Chill of the Night”
Opening credits, showing the panels from the original Amazing Fantasy 15 comic book. Also shows comic book panels of Amazing Spider-Man 3 and 6. (Showing that Doctor Octopus, Chameleon, Vulture, Sandman, and Lizard have already been introduced.)
Open with Mysterio robbing a bank. Spider-Man stalks him up to the rooftop where he beats him after a painful battle. Peter views the photos he has taken, but sees that they are no good. But Mr. Jameson keeps him as a freelancer anyways because he is the only one capable of taking photos of Spider-Man in action. (That and he fired every other photographer.)
Jason Macendale is put in a test suit of the latest “Gog suit”, a heavy duty battle armor with gauntlets and bombs. He fails the test, breaking the head piece and crashing the suit into a chamber of green paint where the room was being remodeled.
Fired, he goes back to the HQ, wanting a second chance. He steals the suit, and bumps into a nearby homeless man outside. He tries to stop Macendale, but is pushed down. This makes him angry, and triggers him to drain Jason of his energy, making him go mad. Realizing his new found powers, the homeless man seeks out the thousand dollar reward for Spider-Man’s capture, to find the reason for his powers.
Peter finds that Spider-Man is becoming popular among his school’s peers, and decides to put on a show for them at Flash Thompson’s Spider-Man fan club. But as he arrives and performs stunts, (after leaving as Peter Parker, who people view now as a coward), the homeless man arrives, dubbed as the Mindworm. He easily defeats Spider-Man, and holds the place hostage. Flash helps Spidey to his feet, and distracts Mindworm long enough for Spider-Man to break the villain’s ears, disabling his telepathy. He freaks, and flees the scene.
Jason redevelops the suit, and calls it not the Gog, but the Jack O’ Lantern. He quits his job at a burger joint and turns to a life of crime. He robs a Pumpkin patch, and inspired by the Headless horseman, creates a new mask that is in the form of a pumpkin. Spider-Man tries to fight him after the second robbery, but Jack O’ Lantern easily defeats Spidey, and moves on.
Spider-Man designs himself a new suit, one that is resistant against electric shocks. (Most, not all.) He sets out to stop Macendale before he is too late, but realizes that the villain has blown up the Daily Bugle and put J Jonah Jameson in the hospital. And, he took Betty Brant, (Peter’s friend and crush), with him. Spider-Man turns to Doctor Conners for help, but Jack O’ Lantern takes him first, trying to kill him after Curt refuses to hand over a formula that will make him even more powerful.
Jack O’ Lantern takes Betty and Dr. Conners on horseback and quickly goes to Central Park. Spider-Man, seeing how he cannot swing from tree branches that well, decides to take a horse also, chasing Jack O’ Lantern for a long period of time until they come to a swampy lagoon. Spidey trips, crushed by his horse, and struggles to get up. Jack O’ Lantern tackles him, but is beaten brutally out of Spider-Man’s anger. He sinks half way in the murky water, and Spider-Man leaves. But not before Mindworm arrives, revealing that he had been helped out of jail by a “Master Planner”. He, sadly, is easily beaten again when he fails to avoid the quicksand. Spider-Man leaves as the police arrive, and Betty sees Peter from under the mask.
A week later, Spider-Man is now a menace to the city. He ignores the newspapers, and continues to fight crime. He then hears over the radio that Kraven the Hunter is in town, and decides to go over and take some pictures. He leaves his house, and a man dressed in all black quietly walks out of the bushes. He phone’s J Jonah Jameson, saying that they “found him”.
