Yeah. That's a bad thing.

Hey, tell us what comic book characters you like? So we can mock them as well? :o

I was making a comment and NOT being mocking, as YOU seem to perceive and interpret from my comment... but if you feel the need to be sarcastic , then feel free, knock yourself out and waste your time even further... I won't waste MINE... end of discussion...

Sorry, if I'm touchy, but I'm a lifelong fan of both Kaine and Ben Reilly. And I hate when people dismiss the characters so casually, because people have been doing that for years and it's usually based on what they heard from Wizard magazine back in the day or something. But the Scarlet Spider Kaine series was awesome (except for the last few issues) and Ben Reilly had a great run as Spidey. His stories really hold up. It's time people showed some respect for the clones.

Personally I enjoyed Kaine's book a hell of a lot more than SpOck's. Kaine really is his own person and his story was more entertaining to me.

Hell Kaine's book has even been better than most of the stuff they have been doing with Peter lately with all of the out of character stuff they have been making Peter do. To me the main book has gotten boring, while Kaine had a fresh perspective. So yes, killing them off is a bad thing.

Yeah, I totally agree. The Scarlet Kaine is one of the best Marvel comics of the last few years. And I grew up with Ben Reilly as my Spider-Man. So I'm not sure why THUNDERSTRIKE got all indignant after he came in here and basically dissed the characters this thread's about. What did he expect? Maybe he's just mad because Eric Masterson gets even less respect than Reilly. :o

It would have been a cool twist if the Scarlet Spider in Spider-Verse was from the Mini-Series, and Spider-Ben was from a new universe where the clone won the original fight at Shea Stadium in ASM #149 and Peter actually changed his name to Ben and lived in Exile, making him Ben but also the real Peter Parker.

This Ben should have been the real Ben.
Everything happened the same way it didn in the 616 up until Revelations, only Ben didn't tell Pete to leave, and they took Norman down at the school instead of Ben getting attacked by surprize!

It is pretty cool we finally got a Ben/Peter and Ben/Kaine reunion. But both could have been so much more. They were only one or two panels each.

I thought the Other was important to the end game. If Ben and Kaine die then I hope they that the seemingly invincibility of these Inheritors in their deaths. I still think Ben will inspire this dimensions inhabitants to rebel against those aristocratic leeches.

Where is the preview where Kaine is dead? He is supposed to have a significant role in the end game being the Other. Also I'm hoping that whichever sacrifice (likely) Ben ends up making in issue 3 - they use the regeneration tubes to bring him back to at least die in the core book:)

It was from the beginning of Spider-Verse where he was attacked and a team of Spiders rescued him.

Aloha,
That would be a nice:word: thought.
