Do you find it troublesome most of the time? What method do you prefer? What is normally used?

This is with it not being anyones birthday or anyone going away to the military or anything...no special event surrounding one person or persons.

Well, with friends I either pay for the person or just get separate checks. Although I don't mind paying sometimes for the other person.

Usually a male friend of mine that I used to work with at Walmart that seem to never have money cause he helped out his parents with bills.

Yeah, he's not a very good friend. But he's funny. He's the type that comes through at times and not at others. I can understand his situation...living at home taking care of his parents, well, helping out with the bills. But c'mon....and he still has two wrestling dvds of mine. Not only that, his cell phone sucks. I think he has a pay as u go cell.

He's the type of friend that's full of ****, runs his mouth, fun to hang out with, and good with the ladies.

I'm that guy who's always broke so when people say, "Individual bills please." I recede into my seat, then shamefully request someone cover for me at the end of the meal.

When I go out to eat, one of us usually picks up the check and we alternate. That's how I roll with my boys. With chicks, whether it's a date or not, I pay, it's just the way I'm wired.

Separate checks most of the time when we are in a big group. When it's just me and a friend I will pick it up, or he will pick it up. Depends on who has the extra cash and the good hearted spirit.

When out with my lady I pay most of the time but she's an independent woman and gets frustrated and will pay for our meals sometimes. I actually quite enjoy it that I don't have one of those uptight girlfriends that makes you pay for everything. t:
