Awww, shame they lost the Sandman "castle" bit. I thought that was a tender moment between him and his daughter.

1. Is there the scene where Brock shows up at the Stacey's home after he loses his job and he has a confrontation with Gwen and her father comes out and tells him to leave? I liked that bit in the novel.

2. Not sure if someone answed this but does Venom write "spider-man stop us if you can!" in the webbing at the construction site?

Does it start funny and become off and not funny any more?

That was the sense I got when reading the novelization is that at the beginning of the scene it was all fun and games and then it became very serious and not fun any more.

1. No, the next you see of Brock after he's sacked is him going to the Church.

2. Yes he does, in the same font as the cartoon which was funny

Thats pretty much it in a nut shell. MJ gets up to sing, but before she breaks into song, Pete steps up on the piano and then does a crazy dance routine with the place going nuts. Then it all goes pear shaped, Gwen realises she's being used as a pawn in the middle of a love triangle and storms off and then it goes really really pete tong between MJ and Pete

or is he just there to tell pete about sandman being the true killer?

Do they show much of brock/peter feud b4 the symbiote attaches to peter? or is it mostly occur when dark peter is around?

Any scenes in a burning building?

Any scenes with joe robertson and pete?

is there a swing sequence like the last 2 films?

so there was no 4th villain cameo at all? like mysterio?

There isn't any burning building, I can tell you that- at least...

And there is not a forth villain.

Apparently he didn't like the dialouge, didn't like that Eddie Brock was portrayed as a prick and that Sandman becomes a sand monster two times in the film and in the way that he becomes a sandmonster.

Check the thread, he gave reasons and views in his answers...

But, hey- there's always going to be someone who hates it...

damn, i was looking forward to it, its a staple of the franchise they shouldnt of deviated from a brilliant ending like the one they had in the book, Pete and MJ swinging off together. And from what i can tell Brock/Venom isnt used very well Thats a damn shame, so much potential...

/\ Well, that's up for controversy check out the review thread... there have been many that liked it and some who haven't... most like Brock and how he was used.

Also, the ending actually sounds better and more somber to me to end on a beat like that. Very sad.

Here's something I almost forgot to ask and was a cool bit at the beggining of the battle royale in the novel.

Is there a part where a swat team in a convoy of humvees attempt to storm the contruction site but are stopped when sandman rise up and flips the humvees over then Venom swings in and starts taking out swat guys left and right?

Yeah its like out of a horror movie with regard to venom . Its shown on the news just before the battle royale starts... Sandman takes out police and the army and then you see venom obliterate men and dodge gun fire.

I'm loving this movie even more...

1. Venom mentions something about Spidey's spider-sense

2. Venom writes that phrase on the construction site in that font

...Venom is going to become my all-time favorite movie villain for sure.

Nope.

You just see this hulking spiderman look alike swinging around, and the the shadow enters an alley with another shadow and basically sandman smacks him to the ground with a malice and venom convinces him to kill spidey.

I saw the flick. Tending towards a slight disappointment, definitely not up to par with 2, maybe on par with 1. Ask me anything, I'll spoil away.
