I hope you're right, but I don't sweat it. I'm beginning to think that some major changes to how cinemas work will be made in the next couple of decades. With the advent of home theater and the growth of piracy, the business will have to change or pretty soon all movies will go straight to DVD. These days it's so expensive to go to see a movie regularly. Even if it's a matinee, I'm still getting cleaned out after going to see more than one movie every month (including gas and concessions). I think that SR is a prime example of why IMAX is the future of cinemas. They need to expand and shift every major event movie to IMAX. Most people don't have the incentive to go to the theaters anymore because of DVD. This is one of the main reasons I don't take half as many chances on movies as I used to. IMAX changed that for me. I drove thirty miles, rode an hour ferry, and hitched a cab to watch Harry Potter 4 and Superman Returns both. I did it because the experience is three times better than I get at my local Regal Cinemas.
