Perfect!
that should be a awesome scene.
Stan Plays a Bus Driver that Hiro meets in the Feb. 19th episode

They better give Stan Lee his guest appearance or he was going to sue their asses for stealing his ideas!!!

^^^ To be honest, not really..Stan Lee ripped off many other previous charecters. Yeah he copied their powers but the thing that made Stan's charecters different were their personalities...same goes with Heroes.

Im really psyched to see this!!

I'm sure most of his "ripped off" charEcters though arn't the ones in major franchises though. :p

:D lol

Soo... already in their first season, Heroes has the best f***ing guest stars ever.

Heroes VO guy: Don't miss the Governor of California on the next Heroes.

*looks around*

*gag*

...............:D

Stan "The Man" Lee or as I like to call him "God"

it is just me? or does anyone find it strange that he's wearing a suit ?

He looks like he's going to a business meeting not driving a bus.

most modern characters in comics tend to be ripoffs of older characters already.

Uh... wrong?

Superstrong character's do exist since Greek Mythos.
Technopaths became popular during the Cyberpunk era.
Wolverine was created by Len Wein.
Double personality? Sybil is just an example.

Lee/Kirby/Ditko just took those formulas and gave 'em a more colorful, amusing, pop-art form, but their main collaboration is to root super-heroes beings on the real world (as opposed to make-believe cities like Gotham, Metropolis, etc).

Lee is a GIANT name in comics and he deserves all kudos and more, but his creations, stripped down to the basic elements, weren't exactly original. But the handling of the hero issues on a real-life environment, THOSE were introduced by Lee.

Anybody else recognized Stan Lee in last night's episode? I thought it was very cool knowing his history with 'mutants' and powers.

(if you didn't recognize him he was the bus driver Hiro talked to)

yeah i noticed but when i saw him i remembered that SHH posted an article on his guest appearance a few weeks ago.

Heroes has strange continuity.....Hiro mentions Spider-Man, so Spider-Man exists, but when he sees Stan Lee, he doesn't recognize him? i found that interesting

Well by that standard, then originality...true originality went the way of the Dodo centuries ago. I mean what is Superman but a modern take on the old Heracles/Samson myths?

Correctamundo. In fact, more Heracles than Samson. The original Superman could't fly, just jump tall buildings (just like Hercules, who also jumped from city to city with his mighty legs), and there was no Kryptonite (it was created for the radio show, thus becaming's Superman's version of Samson's hair).

Well I suspected Samson more since the original Superman creators were Jewish.

You mean like how he's a Star Trek fan and who his father is? :oldrazz:

The best part of this scene was how Hiro was like "Life isn't a comic book" then walks on the bus that Stan the man Lee was driving. Amazing. I love Heroes.
