i have a manual, and it's okay, but i prefer the automatic. it's just... easier. much easier. and i hate more than anything driving my manual in 'stop and go' traffic, with your foot on the clutch for like, and hour at a time.

ugh.

Agreed.

1- Depends on the car.

2- Depends on the driving.

When I was younger I loved manual cos it was more fun. You can spin tires etc. but now, since I travel 70miles daily to work, I couldn't be bothered with all the shifting gears.

I find autos boring and get a much better driving experience from manual.

I've always felt that driving Standard puts you one with the road, thus I like it better. :) Cookie...

Standard, Autos are for lazy people who dont want to move thier arm alot

Try driving a standard in Houston, TX.. My guess is you'll change your answer

I don't have the attention span for a manual. God bless automatic.

Exactly why I prefer automatic, that way I can be on my PDA and cell phone with my free hand.

It's for smart people. Why make the extra effort when it's not necessary? :o:p

Your ment to be concentating on your driving not talking to people on a phone :p

I much prefer a standard transmission, unless I hit stop and go traffic and then having to deal with the clutch is just a pain in the ass.
