Star Wars Squadrons

Thought about it, but not seeing it worth the full $. AlsoI am not buying any games until I have my XBSX set up (I'm poor now lol). By then EA Play will be part of Gamepass.. so it will either be cheaper or free at that point if not I will wait some more. Cyberpunk will be taking up much of my time I suspect.

Looking forward to playing this over the weekend, watched some reviews and streams and all seems mostly positive so thats encouraging.

Looks like a fun blast and game to chill out after Warzone gets a bit "intense" these days.

picked this up friday have not had the chance to crack it open I will probably play it in the near future

Saw that I had a $15 reward from GameStop so I purchased Squadrons

Hopefully it’ll arrive before the weekend

I really am enjoying this game. Wow it feels like the old school X-Wing arcade. I love flying my x-wing

I'm enjoying it too and I'm glad they kept so much of the classics 90s gameplay and features, but I sometimes miss the depth of the original X-Wing and TIE Fighter games. I miss having more options regarding how to balance weapons, engines, and shields, as well as more advanced QOL controls like a match speed with target.

My dream would be for them to remaster the original X-Wing and TIE Fighter games with this engine. Unfortunately, Disney would probably not allow it since they were set in the old EU continuity instead of the new Disney canon.

It's a shame this game isn't getting any post launch content as I hear there isn't a lot of content to begin with.

I read too many bad things to not just wait until this is free or very cheap. Long load times to get into a match, unable to continue playing with the same group of people and for me personally the flight controls for space combat do not seem to be right, I mean I could get over it but if I am paying $ I do not need to get over it. Single player campaign is supposedly not good.

I've heard different opinions on the singleplayer, but they all agree that it's short. On top of that the multiplayer doesn't seem to have many modes or maps, so even though it's £30 and VR compatible I'm in no rush to buy it. Not when I can buy No Man's Sky for about £20 and get a lot more out of it. Like you say it may look more appealing on offer or PS+.

This game and Ghosts are the only games I have bought in the last few weeks I just have not had the the time/chance to play but is on my 'to play' list lol.

It's fun at first but gets repetitive once you've flown every vehicle. And I know this game was designed with VR in mind, but I still prefer flying third person as opposed to the cockpit view.

They are adding the B-wing and TIE Defender next month, within existing classes.
