Episode 7: Battle Scars

Where we find Cid is a penny pincher, Wreckah doesn't understand credit, and Omega calls an old friend well... old:

Nice to see Rex again. I figured it would be him to help the crew remove the inhibitor chip

Well that was great.

- Rex's armor has never looked better.

- Fallen Order planet and Cal's jacket!

- Omega more and more looks like Bart Simpson to me, and I can't unsee it.

- Wreckah finally lost it like we all knew he would. Thankfully Rex found them just in time. It's good to find out that CTE is reversible.

- Kind of interesting that they got the "what if" out of the way so early. It makes me wonder if we will get to the Crosshair rescue in the season 1 finale.

- Omega legit runs the Bad Batch.

- Is there any creature in the GFFA Wreckah can't go hand to hand with?

Some absolutely gorgeous scenery/backgrounds in this episode. Plus really intense moment with Wrecker. Glad that was resolved now instead of dragging it out.

I feel kind of silly for not even thinking of Rex as one of the possibilities for who the Martez sisters were contacting, Ahsoka must have set them up before her and Rex separated, I hope Wolffe and Gregor appear at some point. And glad to have the chips out of the way for the BB, Wrecker's chip activating was intense, I wonder if Crosshair will be as lucky as them in the end.

Nice episode, slightly lighter on action but more development of the team and moved things along nicely story wise, feels like Crosshair and the Empire will be back in the picture soon...

Also, damn, the animation gets better each week it feels like, the colors pop and the animation is so smooth, there's so much detail to enjoy in just "looking" at the show, it feels like they really took their time with it or just computer tech has really moved on in recent time's.

Building up nicely to some big episodes it feels.

Good to see Rex again and no surprise that the sinister events happen (and get fixed) on his watch. I loved that Wreckerism when Omega says she has no chip - “that’s not fair!”.
