Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Another fantastic episode. but one question...once they finish the story arc...is that it? Or doe sthe show continue (I hope!!!) with new story arcs?

Of course it's continuing. This will just be the end of the three-parter.

Love the series so far. I don't think the Battledroids are that annoying really. I'm finding them to be really funny actually.

The introductions of the B & Y-Wings are a nice touch. I thought the Y-Wings flying in formation through Hyperspace around them creatures was amazing and reminded me of why I'm a fan of Star Wars.

I just watched Destroy Malevolence. I like this episode better than the previous ones. The show is a bit too light-hearted for my tastes, but I still like the overall look of it. They really need to stop making the foot droids for the Separatists seem so incompetent.<Nice to see the one droid decline to shoot a jedi with his saber drawn>.

Anakin and Obi Wan working together? Maybe they heard our responses.

Also, being an avid fan of the clones, I am SO looking forward to next week's episode. An all clone episode is something I've been craving forever. This show is great.

So were there two new episodes last night which would bring the show to five episodes or a repeat & 1 new one ?

how come the series is getting good reviews from fans, yet the movie tanked?

I wish I knew, I have not seen the movie. However, one thing I did think was creative was that they had the clone commanders from Episode III in their Phase I armors and they introduced new clone commanders. (from reviews and such I have read/seen.)

I just hope the show continues to keep it up.

so whats the word this coming too TNT. I want to watch in HD with 5.1 surround sound.

the movie tanked because it was just a few episodes plastered together to make a movie and it didn't have a 'cinematic-vibe' to it that the Star Wars Skywalker Saga had in theatres. The general populace didn't 'get it' and thus hardly anyone went to see it. Plus movie reviewers gave many negative reviews of it because they didn't 'get it' either .. but I find most reviewers don't understand movies and what they are meant to be and rate them according to how they think movies should be .. ao Clone Wars didn't work as a theatrical movie.. but it doesn't mean it wasn't decent and entertaining ..

It was the first 'mini-arc' of the show so-to-speak .. I loved the movie myself and love the show as well ... I guess people were expecting something different with the Clone Wars movie .. I was pleased with it as a whole ..

my only complaint with the show thus far is the corny droid banter .. if they cut it down a bit, then it'd be okay but everytime a droid is on screen, it has to make a stupid comment meant to be funny .. it's kinda repetitive and boring ..

is this better than the GT clone wars show that was a prequel to episode 3?

or even the clone war dark horse comics (8 vol) with quinlan vos kicking major ass?

Never read those. I found the old Clone Wars series a bit dissatisfying w/those 5-minute episodes. This is much more exciting.

That was Season 1. In season 2, they made each episode 15 minutes.

Exactly! Looks like it'll be a fantastic ep. I've been wanting to see an all clone ep since the series started.

(my favorite episode currently is the one where Plo Koon and the clones are stuck in the escape pod and the Battle Droids just start opening up the other pods like can openers and watching clones just die in space...freakin COLD.

I DRVed the last couple of episodes that came on and just now got around to watching them. The episode where Grievous holds Padme captive was pretty cool, but I still hate the continuity errors in it. Last night's episode was kick ass. I have to admit I was caught off guard with the language and on screen deaths in a kids show. *shrugs*

Oh, and the homage to Han Solo was awesome!

THis was an interesting episode. I'm glad to know that they are varying it up.

The troopers centered ep was really my favorite of the season thus far. And those infiltrator droids were freakin' awesome! I want to see more of them.

Droid Commandos. Yeah, they seem like more intelligent versions of Super Battle Droids. I loved the episode, and I hope to see more like that. I've been saying for some time a Clone centered movie/show would be great.

The movie was just an excuse to get bank. It was completely unnecessary and should've just been saved for the television premiere. It just didn't feel like Star Wars and it didn't feel right on the big screen. George Lucas said it was a way of introducing new fans to the series or something, but that's a bunch of BS. However the tv show does feel like SW and it feels perfect on the small screen. Go figure. :oldrazz:

It really does feel like star wars. Infact, it feels more like star wars than the prequel movies ever did.

Question: If I was, say, less than impressed with the prequel series as a whole, will I still enjoy the show?
I saw bits and pieces of a few episodes and I didnt hate it, but I saw that an upcoming episode will be about Jar Jar Binks being a jedi knight, which doesnt inspire much confidence...
