IMO:

I downloaded it over the weekend. Seems to be a mishmash of gametypes ending up as less than the sum of its parts with a glorified ragdoll physics engine strapped on its back.

Combat wise it plays like a dumbed down, less fun and fluid God of War, the force powers play like a mishmash of a few last gen telekenisis games I can't remember at the moment comlimented by a cheap dash move taken from some Shinobi game I can't remember.

Yes, the physics are decent, but take away the flailing ragdolls that are Stormtroopers, and certain interactive doors, and the environment isn't all that great.

Yes its just a demo, but maybe its just cynical me, maybe others are blinded by sentamentalism I don't know. I just wasn't impressed at all and I'm suprised its getting such an easy ride.

Not sure, but there is gonna be a good deal of unlockables so there should be reason to play through it multiple times.

OPM and OXM have already reviewed the game. OPM gave it a 7.0 and OXM a 7.5. The reviews also confirmed my fears of lame boss battles.

I've only read the OXM review and he really didn't like QTEs. His review didn't sound regative though. When I read it, it sounded more than a 7.5 to me. Either way, I would wait for reviews closer to the release date. Even then, I don't care about reviews. I just like to read them. If I decided whethere or not I was going to buy a game based on reviews, I wouldn't have half the games I have.

Yeah its just that 60 bucks is alot of cash to me at the moment. I gotta save for the ones that will really hook me. I think Fable 2 will be that game this year.

I've hard alot of buzz about Fallout. I was never a PC gamer , so i missed out on the first two. I think Fable will have me pretty engrossed for awhile. I really don't have the time for the 100 plus hours Fallout offers.

They said that about Oblivion, but most of the stuff that consumed your life turned out to be pretty lame.

Yea, for the most part i enjoyed it as well, but i was overwhelmed by it, plus i got tired of going on hunts inside caves. I dont know why i havent payed any attention to Fallout 3, im in dire need of a good, epic RPG(after Fable 2 that is).

If i can get any cash, after i pick up this game, BiA and Fable, then ill prolly look into Fallout 3.

I would as well, but thats because im in dire need of a great RPG and i loved Fable. Ill be picking up Gears as well tho, same goes for Star Wars: TFU, Brothers in Arms, Socom and now that im researching it, Fallout 3. Damn this is gonna be a gooood yr for gaming.

Hah yea, im hoping ill have enough left over after i buy all my books. Iv bought most of em online so im saving almost 200 bux. I got a birthday in Sept so im gonna be asking for money, money and money. Because as it stands now, up through Nov, ill be purchasing Star Wars:TFU, Brothers in Arms, Socom: Confrontation, Fable 2, Fallout 3 and Gears of War 2.
