If you're comparing it to the demo, then yeah. The final game won't be as easy as the demo was. You won't have that many combos, you won't have lightning or charged Force push. The demo gave you powers and combos you won't have in the first level of the game, since the apprentice won't be leveled up at all.

But the guy playing kinda sucked...

Hah yea, im hoping ill have enough left over after i buy all my books. Iv bought most of em online so im saving almost 200 bux. I got a birthday in Sept so im gonna be asking for money, money and money. Because as it stands now, up through Nov, ill be purchasing Star Wars:TFU, Brothers in Arms, Socom: Confrontation, Fable 2, Fallout 3 and Gears of War 2.

quick question: Has anyone DL both the 360 and PS3 version of this? And if so what are your thoughts? Like is it easier to control on PS or 360, what felt more fun, possibly looked slightly better on Ps or 360, etc. Just basically a compair and contrast of the two demos.

I thought the demo was great. The controls take some getting used to, just because I've never played a game utilizing the controls like this before.

Everything is moveable. Atleast, it feels like it is. Really fun game. I'm looking foward to it's release.

The Playstation: The Official Magazine gave the PS3 version a 3.5/5 but gave the PS2 one a 4/5. Weird. Nintendo Power and the Official Xbox Magazine both gave the Wii and 360 a 7.5/10 respectively

From what I've read a side by side comparison has been done. The major differences are similar to the GTA4 differences. The 360 version is far darker, looking at the side by sides you could see details much better in the distance where the 360 version would be very dark. However the 360 version had more vibrant colors where the PS3 version was a bit softer. They also said on the demo that the PS3's sound was far superior since it was uncompressed, and that at 1080p the 360 version had slight screen tearing.

Most of the pics show the PS3 version showing more detail because it's brighter (look at the last 2 pics, 360 on top, PS3 on bottom for a good show of that), but the PS3's colors are softer and less vibrant. The 360's screen tearing is talked about by a few 360 owners in the comments section.

The third comment down seemed to have found a lot more problems with the 360 version, but again I can't say. That's more for the 360 owners who have played the demo to say if he's right or wrong.

Sounds only an issue if you have a really nice sound system. The PS3 version also won't have trophy support out of the box, possibly in a patch down the road tho.

You shouldn't be focused on that tho. If YOU find the game fun, then buy it. Dont let these so called "professionals" tell you what game is worth your money. From the demo, I feel the game is great fun, i dont care what reviews say, im picking this one up.

Agreed, reviewers are ppl paid to give opinions. A lot aren't heavily bias, but some still let their bias seep thru. Minor flaws have got good games low scores just because a reviewer isn't a fan of that genre. That's not to say they aren't right on a lot of games, it just shouldn't be a reason not to buy a game you think you'd like.

It's the same for movies as well, a lot of movies have been critically panned and I ended up liking them.

I'll be picking this game up as well, but not for a bit. I'm getting another dualshock controller or 2, a PS3 Eye (+a few PSN PS3 Eye games), Warhawk map pack, RPG Maker 3, and then next month Naruto UNS and LBP come out. So my gaming purchases are alrdy kinda full.

Starkiller was an awesome name btw, I can't believe I didn't see that one coming. Think I might do what I never usually do and rent this one, just cause I'm such a Star Wars nerd and it looks cinematically ace.

Because I'm an even bigger video game nerd, and all I've learnt from Star Wars games is that they leave a harsh hole of hate and deciet where my £40 once was. I just don't want to see a Star Wars game in my collection right now.

I'm not terribly impressed that the game is only getting 7.5s from the official magazines, which are typically softer on games than independent publications. I really liked the demo, but I may end up waiting till the price goes down before I actually buy it. My money is really tight right now, so I can't just go throwing it at a game unless it really delivers.
