Yeah I love that the actually get Lucas to help them collaborate on these things, just makes them that much more fun.

Has this trailer been posted?

BTW...I also posted a review of the season premiere from IGN, a few pages back. I guess you guys just ignored it...:csad: :oldrazz:

Oh! And there's also www.theforce.net. I also found some good fan films on there. There was one really good lightsaber duel on there. Only problem was there were no jedi/sith costumes, just two guys in regular street wear. But the fight choreography was excellent.

I'm not a fan or rottentomatoes to be honest, but a friend showed me this today. Could the “Star Wars” Prequels Actually Better Reviewed Than Originals? according to this, it's true!

Tomatometer Ranking of Star Wars Series Based on Critical Reaction During Original Release Dates:
83% - Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
79% - Star Wars
65% - Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
62% - Star wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
52% - The Empire Strikes Back
31% - Return of the Jedi

I found this part rather funny: As one can see, only “Star Wars” managed to be Fresh, with a respectable 79% on the Tomatometer, while the other two sequels got successively worse. Most of the critics thought the first film was an inventive, fun, and entertaining summer popcorn movie. It’s interesting that they complain about the dialogue back then too. :hehe: “Empire,” which is regarded as the best of the series nowadays, only managed to score a mixed 52%. It received great technical grades, but critics had problems with the plot, one way or other, and thought it was just “minor entertainment.” It got worse with “Jedi” – uneven pacing, no character development, tired acting, and hollow and junky filmmaking. It scored a moldy 30% on the Tomatometer.

Anyways, you can read the full article here:http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/sta...quels_actually_better_reviewed_than_originals

Darnit, I wish I was back home in time to see it. I can only afford one trip home before Christmas though, and I'm taking it in October.

Next week folks.
Finally!

I'm glad the Clone Wars are coming back and this Rise of the Bounty hunters sounds like an excellent idea. The Jedi seem to be stretched very thin in this telling of the story.

Indeed Paradox... and according to Filony, things will get worse for them:

DAVE FILONI: Our heroes are in the middle of a war, and things are not necessarily going well for them. Things are getting more complex. The Jedi aren't soldiers, but they've been forced into that role and it's definitely having an effect on them. It's taking its toll on everyone, and the enemy has some new tricks to make things difficult for the Jedi and the clones. So far, we've seen a pretty standard war, with the two sides pitted against each other. But we're going to see a different kind of adversary, posing a different kind of threat. We're going to make things really tough on the heroes. The war's breeding a new kind of villain. They're bounty hunters and mercenaries who are taking advantage of the turmoil to make a big score. They're bad, bad guys, and they don't play by the rules. We got a taste at the end of the first season with Cad Bane, but we're going to see a lot more of that. They're a resource for taking out Jedi -- and they're good at their jobs. Things are going to get ugly.

Great interview. I remember now Bane's species was the dude from the cantina sequence

I remember first seeing Bane and I instantly thought to the dude in the cantina scene. Never knew those species could be so damn badass. That dude in the cantina was just waving his finger I believe?

I hope season two is darker than the first season. Not that there were dark episodes in the first one.
