I highly doubt that...have you seen what Showtime has these days..they are so past Stargate

MGM released some plans during the summer to retool and refocus the franchise...do some more DTVs and spread out into other media (maybe comics or something)

They will have to make a more recent announcement to help calm everyone down. Stargate based forums are pissed heh

they picked the wrong companies to make them....

Activision could work wonders with Stargate IMHO.... i just hope if it does happen, it's not a PlayStation exclusive (Can't play the PS3, hands too big for the controllers)

Doubt it. The writers had a 5 year plan & could have ended it properly with a third year if given the chance. Season 2 is long done & is now in Post Production. All of the actors are finding out via Twitter from fans that the show is done

it's not likely Syfy have really messed up here... and i pity the poor person in charge of the syfy twitter account.... they'll be getting a lot of abuse atm... i've tonight stopped following the syfy twitter....why bother when they'll (the bosses) just **** up the shows and the station...

SG is perfect for a Rainbow Six/ Ghost Recon type game....

Indeed, I wish the SG1 game "The Alliance" got made. I could also picture a Stargate game with gameplay like Tomb Raider/Uncharted.

I really hope so The show has lost me this season to be honest, but I hate when shows end on a cliffhanger. Hopefully they'll get some kinda DTV{though doubtful since the other two DTV's haven't gotten off the ground yet}.


Speaking of movies, maybe MGM will take the franchise in that direction?

and just to note...Universes audience dropped by half during the first season, blame the timeslot move all you want, but almost every show on Syfy has moved at least once and its audience followed

It's a bummer. I like the show but not a rabid fan...still I like to see science fiction shows and would love to have an actual ending to something I'm watching. I always hated that SPACE: ABOVE AND BEYOND ended with the cliffhanger that not never got an ending.

i'm listening to a mates uni radio show... he's cheering me up.

Stargate is the show that really got me into geekdom... feels kinda wrong not to have it around anymore...

I like Haven.

Maybe a strong number of viewers in the remaining 10 episodes could knock some sense into SyFy.

Haven is pretty good.

Sucks about SGU. I dug it a lot. Problem might be with the format. If the show was more like SG1 and SGA it probably would have found a larger audience.

Speaking of SGA, are they planning to make movies like they did for SG1?
