Any place to buy SG1 T-shirts? I found this site but I'm looking for something a bit cheaper...

Oh, and where's the cheapest place to buy seasons of SG1?

I'm a cheap bastard.

Isnt Star gate SG-1 over??

because yesterday i watched a Commercial for SG1 and they said it was an all new episode on satuday.

i thought they weren't making any new episodes

SG-1 is finished making episodic shows yes. Guess they fracked up with that commercial.

Do you think we will ever see any SG1 character in the new SGA...apart from Sam?

Teal'c is appearing in one more episode this season.

As for others.... well t hee is the 100th episode coming up at the end of Season five... i think it could be an idea for a crossover knock-your-socks-off episode.

There is rumors that they want Shanks to do some episodes in S5

Great news

This show is now taking over a decade of TV time for me lol

the pirate Arc of Truth was good... but it has some MAJOR continuity problems (ie. Teal'c goes through what appears to be a month long hike, which lasts 30 seconds relatively to all the other characters... it's a total let down... I mean these guys have been making SG1 for over 10 years now, such mistakes/or writing oversights are unacceptable).

otherwise, arc of truth is pretty cool

Spoiler tag those comments for those of us who haven't broken the law and DL'd an ilegal copy of a movie that isn't out for over two months....

Ark of Truth was good. I hope the dvd sales aren't too affected by the leak. I'll be buying the official release.

probably not,,, the movie was fun and all, but man, parts of it were really really bad. There was a little too much ironic making fun of itself. It was all very disconnected... and probably would have been much better cut into three episodes and attached to the end of the last season

best parts for me were the teal'c/Tomin bits, everything else was pretty much a re use of concepts done on the show already.

Well, the Stargates have both been pretty by-the-numbers shows from SG-1's sixth season on. Still, as long as there's some good dialogue and fun character bits, I'll be happy with Ark of Truth. I'm waiting for the official release, though.

It's kind of sad how we all seem to expect mediocrity from the Stargate crew. Why do you keep watching, Superfreak? Me, I've been watching some form of Stargate for so long now that I can't really conceive of not watching it.

diddo... 200 + episodes, that past commitment requires me to not miss anything... I mean what if they finally put out something that was absolutely unbelievably awesome? It would suck to miss something like that after watching for so long

SGA I save for only the most dire of times

Ha, I gave up on following SGA because this season bored me, but the commercial for the "new season" (actually the back half of season 4, but whatever) on Sci Fi got me excited again and I watched the episodes I'd missed. Actually not too bad if you ignore the fact that virtually all of it has been done on SG-1 a bunch of times. I loved "McKay & Mrs. Miller," in spite of its by-the-numbers plot. I'm a sucker for Earth-based stories and the Hewletts are always entertaining together.

Is SGA affected by the Strike?

*And I really want to buy the SG1 boxed set, since I have none of the seasons on dvd.

I don't think so, since most of the SGA writers are Vancouverites. The WGA is a US union.

I mentione this a while back but only one writer is part of the WGA... the rest are in the Canadian writers guild.

S4 of SGA is going to run normally... No idea what problems, if any, will be around with S5

Go ahead, seen the 1st to 8th season on sale here and there for around 19.99 to 24.99

If yopu have none and about £200 then you can buy all Ten seasons in one set...
