^The packaging sucks major monkey **** though so that's not a good idea:yay:

It looks cool yeah, from the outside. The discs come in paper sleeves and they go all over the place.

Wow, that blows. They should've made the packaging a base that all of the DVDs could sit in, with little Stargate bookends in-between each season of discs.

That was a badass episode to open the new year with. I loved the way Sam shut that Colonel down, Cool orbital fight. And the ending...nice.

That was definitely one of the better-to-best episodes of Atlantis. It felt pretty epic, especially with the collection of old enemies coming together for a huge in-space brawl.

Yeah, the mixed fleet was really cool. I think Larin and her people would make a pretty good semi-permanent addition to the show.

I wasn't a huge fan of [blackout]evil Weir[/blackout] at the end, though. Haven't they done this story before on Atlantis? With terrible results?

Such a fantastic episode, like wow. I was very impressed. Seriously it had just about everything I could want from a Stargate episode. I certainly don't mind seeing more of Larrin, and I didn't mind the end with the [BLACKOUT]evil weir thing, because this seems pretty complex, I mean thats like a couple episodes worth of stuff and huge events she has masterminded there.[/BLACKOUT]

Great stuff, can't wait for more!

'RepliWier'
Won't be back this season.

I was so hoping they wouldn´t go with this old cliché but I guess there was no escaping it :csad:

Still, this was a good episode though I thought the new asgard weapons where lame looking.

Yeah, they looked like periwinkle lines someone drew in in Paint. Maybe it's just the mental disconnect I experienced between seeing Stargate, once the realistic, modern-day alternative to Star Trek, feature honest-to-God phasers on their ships.

The CG looks great in this episode. Preview of Spoils of War:

Never under-estimate the power of Gater's when it comes to a public vote, Atlantis won the Peoples Choice Award for favourite sci-fi show. If you want to see the acceptance speech, a proper one not the two second clip I believe was shown on TV, featuring Joe Flanigan, David Hewlett, Rachel Luttrell and Jewel Staite, it's online here. WHO was hampered by the lack of a UK vote, unfortunately.

You'll have to scoot a long way to the right to find it.

"we'd like to thank......."

Hewlitt- Battlestar galactica and WHO for losing LOL

Can't waot for Raiders Of The Lost Ark Of Truth.

[blackout]Sorry, couldn't help myself;) [/blackout]

Ok. So I've watched up through episode 3 of season 4. Looking good so far, and I hope to be fully caught up soon.

After seeing Spoils of war.....

Anyone think there's something up with the baby? Could the baby be part wraith? Cuz Teyla seemed too able with operating the Hive ship than before....

Next week looks good, Can't wait to see Radek McLaine. :woot:

Yeah, season 4's been fairly good for the last few episodes.

agreed... I hate to say it, but the winter return episode was not bad. I wouldn't call it great... but up there with some solid episodes of SG1. I have to say though, I'm sick of weir (been killed what, 5 times this season already). Be done with her, and move on. It's obvious their trying to give her character a little taste of Daniel (supposedly dying in almost every episode). But it's been done.

My only real comment for SGA is one that I've been sayin for a while: I wish they'd get back to reality, just a little bit. That's what was good about SG1, that it was somewhat plausible. SGA just has too much sci fi to it. By that I mean it's almost more Star Trek, rather than SG1. Yes, the high tech goes hand in hand with the setting/city, but it's just too much IMO.

Oh God, I'm really loathing the prospect of more evil Weir. Or more Weir in general, at this point. She's either back or she's gone, pick one and move on.

I agree on the second point, too. I think the moment that cemented that point in my mind was when the human ships busted out phasers in the first episode of the back half. Getting rid of the Asgard and giving humanity all of their tech was a horrible move.

Ark of Truth has been leaked, won't say where. I'm waiting for the dvd though
