I forgot to add the super gate to my post, that was really cool! I was hoping we'd see it activate, imagine the whoosh that comes out of that!!!

I wouldnt mind seeing the Daedalus in one episode I guess but im more of a fan of the Prometheus, I just like the design better.

I posted this on another Stargate forum. Id love to see episodes near the end of the season where we get to see a full out space battle between Ori ships and an Earth fleet (I know its unlikely they'd get built quickly enough but this is just what id like to see). I could even see Prometheus with its less advanced systems holding its own and possibly taking out a main Ori ship with a collision course which isnt called off this time.

Did we not see a cool mini battle with Ships in the Season 7 finale :p & also a little in Space while the Obi Wan like Daniel Jackson faced off with Anubis until Oma or whoever her named was ruined it

Yes I know we had a small battle at the end of season 7, thats why I mentioned the Prometheus' called off collision course order. I was just stating what I would like to see at the end of this season.

Another major space battle would be cool. We know that the government is putting more money into Daedalus-class ships, so for once we actually won't be the underdog, considering the Daedalus's Asgard tech makes it incredibly formidable. If there is a space battle, I'd definitely want Mitchell to get in the pilot seat and lead the F302s again, only this time he actually saves the day.

I doubt we'll see the Daedalus very much, if at all, on SG-1. It looks like they're kind of personalizing the 303s for each show. Daedalus is SGA's BC303, Prometheus is SG-1's X303. Although we might see some of the newly constructed BC303s on SG-1 later on.

Just found this stargate wars online game, seems like it might be good for stargate fans. Heres a link (of course the link will get me more soldiers so im hoping any stargate fans will click on it, follow the instructions then join up themselves)

Stargate Wars Link

I couldn't get in is it some kind of flash game? Better hope MGM doesn't find out about it they'll shut it down right quick.

Its not a flash game, just one of those games where u get supplies/soldiers etc and attack other members. I very much doubt MGM would close it down.

Oh they will if they find it. They've shut down every single mod based on Stargate for copyright infringement. This is no different, unless they have permission which I doubt.

Jeebus, this was on the third page? On the day of a new episode? What's wrong with the world? :(

the new episode hasn't aired yet. We are anxiously waiting for it. No time to waste on boards. :D

not that I dislike them, but I find the earth bound episodes to be less exciting than the standard whip ass in space epis

Looks like Ba"al or however you spell that guy
s name will be the next Apophis & just wont die :down

I'm glad for that. Baal's the best Stargate villain ever, so I hope he doesn't get killed off anytime soon. I'm gonna have to agree that this episode wasn't as good as some of the others from this season, most notably "Beachhead" and "The Powers That Be." The ending scene was a little goofy and I'm sorry, but I find it pretty damn implausible after 9/11 that we could teleport a building away and cover it up with a story that a bomb leveled it unless the government was willing to basically cover half of Seattle's downtown with debris and dust. Outside of that, though, the episode was still pretty good. Baal was great, the Free Jaffa Nation politics continue to be a really interesting B-plot for the season, and, of course, it was great to finally see that scene we've all been waiting for: SG-1 has officially returned. :)

Baal rules, that's the only thing that has me excited for this episode... and at this point in the series, with an enemy that threatens the galaxy as a whole, it is time to start seeing the Goauld allie themselves with we puny humans.

I still think that Apophis was in the series opener of Atlantis, and that we still have much to learn about the origin of the Goauld

Baal' probably has thousands of clones by now so I think Baal' will be around for a while.

I don't know about thousands, but yeah, it looks like he's there for whenever the people running things want him back.

Where was Apophis in the Atlantis opener?

Um Apophis IS alive but he is in a NEVER ENDING BATTLE with that Old Chick who Ascended Jackson. The old chick saved Daniels life before the Replicators got destroyed. The old chick Ascended Apophis the same old chick who Ascended Daniel. The Ascended Daniel / Obi Wan copy cat was kicking Apophis ass in an episode but the old chick ruined it :down She with the help of Daniel realised her mistakes & all so now somewhere she is in a NEVER ENDING BATTLE with Apophis keeping him trapped pretty much for all eternity.

I swear that was him, in the prologue, he's one of the 2 characters you see right before atlantis lifts off and flies away. It's either him, or they used the same actor, I think.

Dude, it's not him. It's another black guy who looks slightly similar, but it's not him. If it were him, that'd mean that Apophis' host was an Ancient and we know from "Serpent's Song" that Apophis' host was just a simple Egyptian slave because he babbles incoherently about how he's been having a terrible dream for thousands of years. Besides, if Apophis' host were an Ancient, Apophis himself would've been a hell of a lot more powerful and even more dangerous than Anubis, since he wouldn't have been subject to the ascended rules.
