UK / Canada thing

They get Second Half rights for SGA dunno about SG1 & hey NOTHING is perfect there will always be Plot Holes in everything & I agree Tayla's singing felt completely out of place

The Movie Network, ie. only in Canada. As it should be, you don't know what it's like, seeing the bloody show filmed in your town, and not being able to see it, until after the rest of the world has.

finally, an episode worth watching. McKay plays the best crazy person ever. Sam's appearance was decent, but could have been better. And lastly, the climax is a little predictable. Let's just extend the shields around bla blab blab.

Good epi, finally

It was kinda freaking seeing Sam the way she just pops out of no where but with her wet & in a Bikini near the end

Hopefully now Rodney is learning to be able to TRUST the Atlantis team a bit & it does kinda fee like with this Episode that they could be "prepping" us for next Season for when Sam makes occasional visits to Atlantis to help out (if that happens).

Its looking less likely now, theyve sorted out the contracts and shes spending most of her time on SG1 instead of splitting time between the two shows as was rumoured.

That stinks whered you read that ?

Gateworld, plus I dont think it stinks at all, she should stay on her own show. I dont really like SGA so I wouldnt want to have to keep watching it just to see Carter.

new epi of SGA was another good one. Gate team finds a world, that has been hiding an exact replica of the command tower on Atlantis (it's actually another 'atlantis class city'. The tower is controlled by a feudal lord, where the nobel blood lines are those that can control the magic of the tower.

needless to say, our democratic SG team doesn't like this much...

Sheppard shows up, screws everything up, causes the fall of feudal system, empties the ZPM powering the Tower, and gets away with a fresh store of Drones for Atlantis and everything is happy in the end.

this is the second solid epi in a row, I hope they get better on this last haul towards the season finale

I agree I really hope they are setting up something for the Finale. With them finding Drones for the Chair weapon I wonder if thats a hint.

Great SG1 Episode

I am now expecting some kind of war between the Ori & everyone else when the time comes
It was also cool to see Hammond hang with SG1 even if it was very brief

I so want to see Ori VS Tauri / Ancients / & Teal C & everyone else & maybe with a little help from the Asgard we havent seen or heard from them in a while

I can just tell when the Ori go after the Ancients & they can not handle the Ori on their own they will ask SG1 for help

I wonder if they will reveal the Stargate soon to the World. Wont be long before the Ori attacks again

Good stuff tonight.

My only problem was with Rodney pumping himself up witht he enzyme. With all that equipment in the lab couldn't he have come up with something to knock those guards out?

Otherwise, I'm fairly pleased with the results.

dark side intergalactic bible salesman - great line

good SG epi, but it just seems so early for the Priors to have such debilitating weakness.

otherwise cool

"HE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A GOOD PIE CRUST" IT WAS FUNNY, BUT I CAN'T HELP BUT FELL THEY ARE TRYING TO REPLACE O'NEIL

sg1 was alright this week, EXCEPT FOR THE CLICHE OVER DONE PLOTLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every scifi show in existance has done the false implanted memory thing, so I was totally not excited by the episode.

the only thing that was interesting in the episode was to learn that Mitchell's father had been crippled in a plane crash. It's really quite interesting considering how Mitchell survived the Antartic Battle, and survived to take his place as commander of SG1.

But aside from that small detail in the epi, the rest was pretty much recycle cliche garbage that every other science fiction series has done in the past.

Hope that next week is better

People were saying the same thing about a certain Character from Atlantis in its First Season. Give it time my Friend

Really liked the beginning of Atlantis when Rodney realized there was a time dialation. The fast pace and urgency that Sheppard may run out of supplies literaly any second really came through. It didn't feel rushed, but felt frantic, which was great. Really intense scenes. Good stuff.

I just want Richard Dean Anderson to show up in an episode as Jack's long-lost twin MacGyver.

Yes, I liked that episode also even though it was similar to another SG1 episode in which O'Neil got stranded on a planet and it was also some kind of time-dilation thing going on because he stayed there for literally months and almost gave up on people coming for him. Unforunately I forgot the title but it was either season 6 or possibly 7.
Anyway, same basic plot and yet Atlantis made it different enough, but there was one part I really didn't like and that was Sheppard's speech about how he is really living. That seemed like such a macho-americana-bulls@#t thing to say.
McKay: "What is it with you and ascended women?"
Hehe. :)

Good SG1 episode, but there wasn't a time dialation. He actually was trapped for months because the Stargate was hit by a meteor.
