Yeah I was just sitting here trying to remember an ep with time dilation but all I could come up with was "A Hundred Days"

Happenstance said:Yeah but neither O'Neil or SG1 were caught in that time dilation trap
Unleashed said:Uh, What Episode Did You Watch?
Unleashed said:I Watched The Newest One, It Was About Shepard Being Stuck In Some Kind Of Time Portal. No Wraiths
Unleashed said:and i'm glad
Superfreak said:it's the newest one entitled Adam
Spaceballs said:Correction
You mean entitled
Michael
Spaceballs said:According to discriptions "Michael" comes back the next Episode asking for the Groups help in defeating the wraith. Either A) its a set up for an event or B) he sees now how different the wraith & humans really are & he lets the Doc help him again. It wont be so hard to believe that after seeing first hand how the Humans are & then he spends some time with the Wraith I cant really him imagining liking the Wraith that much. But then again it can all be one big Set Up. It certainly didnt take long for the Humans long to find a way for them to ALMOST defeat the Wraith.
I've been enjoying SGA more than SG1 this season until recently, myself. The first half of SG1's current season was an awful mess, in my opinion. "Prototype" and "Ex Deus Machina" were the only episodes I really enjoyed, and the latter was because I just like the actor who plays Baal more than anything else. The second half looks like it'll be turning things around, though. "Collateral Damage" and "Ripple Effect" were great, and they actually managed to revive some of the old team feeling from SG1's early seasons. "Stronghold" was also better than anything in the front half of the season except "Prototype." Although I can't say I liked Mitchell's dying buddy subplot or his behavior during the raid much, I like the fact that we're at least getting some more of his backstory and a better feel for his personality now. I hope that continues. Maybe it's because I've been watching the entire series of Farscape for the past week, but compared to John Crichton, Cameron Mitchell seems really wooden and boring.Superfreak said:never happened on SG1... SGA just took the 100 days epi, and combined it with timedilation concept... ie. poor show with lack of creativity.
SGA is good, and it fills the gap between more superior tv shows,,, but it is no gem. It's got a great budget, but man some of the narratives are boring or just plain predictable.
Maybe I'm just biased, but SG1 is still far more superior, even with its obvious weakness this season. I also hate single serving episodes
