Comics Steve Wacker asks the fans what they want...Already?!

People that don't like BND are still buying it to complete their collections? Ugh. If you don't like something, don't buy it. Simple as that. I've gone years without buying ASM before and I can do it again if need be.

What do I want from ASM? I want for the book to stop living in the past. I know some people like this "new" direction, but there really doesn't seem to be anything new about it. Sure, there are some new villains and new supporting characters, but I really don't care about them. Actually, I don't even care about Peter Parker anymore as when I read about him in BND, he seems like a stranger to me and someone I cannot relate to.

Sorry. It was the other thread, where you brought up sucking my %&@. In that thread is when you started throwing insults before I said anything resembling what I said here. The sock puppets helped me sort that out.

Yeh, i agree. I cannot relate to this new alternate version of Pete either. Especially as a husband and father, i find this new extra selfish Peter deplorable, in fact.

I am hoping they retcon this retcon sooner than later too. Because you know they will, only matter of time. So this all will be nothing but a LONG LONG DETOUR to nowhere. Just like Clone Saga was...(and OVERLY drawn out too).

Instead of having all these new creative teams write things that progress Pete and the title....it is a big waste of time to make Pete look like a middle aged loser going thru the same things he did before growing up...so this time thru it makes him look like a bum, not an adult who has lived and learned. He's even more of a loser tho for dealing with the devil, and throwing his aunt, child, wife, and entire planet under the bus.

They've somehow managed/made my lifelong hero into a total bum who i do not like or respect in the least when i look at him. :csad:
 
One thing i'd like clarifying, The Spider-mugger sub-plot from the first arc of BND...

Did that get a resolution? Or did it sort of blend into the the current Spider-tracer murders sub-plot?

It's a little confusing. I mean, i'm not sure how you're supposed to read that third issue. Was it, the spider-mugger was killed. End of.

Or the Spider-mugger was killed, and his killer is going after Spidey's identity?

And does it have anything to do with the Spider-tracer killings?!?
