Whenever I see Gina in interviews she seems so sweet and cute that it's almost hard to picture her kicking ass.

Wouldn't surprise me, especially with the reviews this movie and she has been getting. I'll take charismatic screen presence any day of the week over more technically proficient actor but completely uninteresting. Hopefully she can learn how to be a better actress though.

I know a couple people here are against the idea but Refn has shown he is actually interested in Wonder Woman and has a vision for the character. Not to mention the guys is an incredibly gifted director. I mean all the stars are aligning so WB would have to be blind to not see the potential they have right now for an amazing WW film.

Because she's a female hero, period, that's why. The big studios are basically run by chauvinistic losers, and will foolishly use examples like Electra and Catwoman to justify not funding a female comic book movie.

In any event, even though I don't know her very well, I hope Gina and Haywire win the weekend BO. It would be a good kick-start to her career, even better than the Rock had (and look at the garbage he's doing now).

The TV pilot failed because the pilot was a joke.

WB desperately wants a Justice League film, and for that to happen they'll need to do a Wonder Woman adaptation (executives can't scoot this under the rug). AND for a Wonder Woman film to happen, Man Of Steel needs to be successful.

So alot rides on The Superman reboot and Wonder Woman's debut on the big-screen.
