Ewan McGregor looks so, unintimidating and kind hearted in everything I've seen relating to this film. Like the good hearted uncle who always goes the extra mile for your birthday and gets you awesome hardcover graphic novels. It's almost like you don't want to see him get massacred by Carano's hero.
The whole voice-altering thing is bizarre. I really don't know what to make of that. It might be because her line delivery was terrible or something but... Soderbergh put Channing F***ing Tatum in this. So he couldn't have been that concerned if the acting was bad.
I feel the press and some people (not here) are picking on Gina because she was in MMA before this and don't see her as a legitimate actress but so far she's leagues better than Channing Tatum the plank of wood (although that's not saying much) yet still more believable than any other female in a lead action role.
I'm buying her in this role and I hope it does well because from what I've seen I think she has the potential to really grow as an actress. Here's hoping.
Yeah it isn't her. Some guy posted it in the comment section of Collider and it turns out it's someone entirely different. Although she does have a resemblance to Carano.
