Looks visually interesting, I know most are marking out for the Iron Giant but seeing the Delorean in that car chase was what got me!

The trailer looks good. It looks like something special.
Those appearances of the Iron Giant, the Delorean... all look pretty sweet and interesting. On the other hand i found the trailer a bit chaotic at times in the way the scenes were presented and the super fast pace.

This trailer was great. I hate nostalgia indulgence and Cline's sensibilities, but this looks like something where Spielberg tapped into something greater than that. It doesn't just look like nostalgic indulgence that I was afraid of. It just looks like a story first. Hopefully it's more like the Lego movie where all the references are just window dressing to telling a greater story. If anyone can do that and elevate the material and make it about something more than ****ish references it's Spielberg. If it was just gonna be that, he wouldn't have done it.

Hell yeah. If they do it right it'll be everything i've wanted from Power Rangers and Pacific Rim.

That's the point. The movie is set in a dystopian future to look for these Easter Eggs. That's the story.

Spielberg is one of the best directors of our time and he has never disappointed me. And all these pop cultural artifacts that will be in the movie...
