Steven Spielberg's ''Terra Nova''

I did watch it; i know all about the alternate time line, blah, blah, blah, but going back to the Dinosaur age is like putting a human buffet table out for them.

As the above post stated, it was said in the first 2 episodes that the rift opened up to that point in time, there is no select which time you would like to go to.

the episode was stupid. Really bad acting by all characters. The main guy......... looks terrible to be a lead.

The wife....... oh man, terrible.....

So, what was decided, that Terra Nova is a dictatorship, no fair trail........ slumdog punishment?

I don't get it.......... back to better shows.......... like the Walking Dead

I MISS LOST :(

I actually like this show its pretty good to me. i dig the commander that guy is kick ass and I'm really hoping they get into the stuff about the commanders son. I want to know why he left Terra Nova to live in the jungle and write on caves.

One thing good about the show is the daughter, she is hot like ****.

But, she acts like a door mat, literally, a door mat

Yeah I've given up on the show, haven't watched it since that terrible amnesia episode. Loved the idea but it is ruined by cliched characters, cliche storylines, bad acting and the dumb case of the week format.

The problem with the show, is that they are trying to make the show procedural, instead of a storyline. Everybody episode is different.

And everybody is a bad actors.

I can't stand the wife, she is freakishly boring and very uninteresting......

Ok, I watched the first two episodes. After the first, I kinda forced myself with the second to see if it would get better.
I didn't like it. I didn't care about the characters, the storylines, the setting, the dinos or anything else.

Unless it gets drastically better in later episodes, I'm not interested anymore.

I like the show...but the biggest issue for me is that they spend too much time IN Terra Nova and not going outside the walls very often.

I think it's a bigger issue that they're so nonchalant about going out the walls. Who would just walk around the jungle knowing perfectly well that at any moment you could be torn apart and eaten? I mean cmon. Those open door jeeps makes even less sense with this in mind.

Your mind is obviosily closed to say that because there are people who live in jungles today. They don't live with dinosaurs but there is still a great amount of danger regardless. You are speaking from a point of view of someone who lives in the comfort of a modern city or country.

I missed the last episode as I was out on Halloween, but I'll be sure to catch up.

They're probably thinking: "Hey, we're on network TV, the budget's not high enough for us to meet dinosaurs too frequently, so we should be okay."

When you grow up in the jungle you know what to look, and you're prepared to face it if you have to. They only venture out to hunt so they can stay alive. What's the worst they can run into compared to dropping into the middle of the Jurassic period. The people in Terra Nova waltz around the jungle like it's a playground, and they don't have a care in the world. Give me a break.

The only people who walk around the jungle a lot are the teenagers and trained personel. If they thought of it as a "playground" as you suggest then that last episode when the commander sentenced someone to that same jungle would of been seen as a slap on the wrist instead of a death sentence! Be for real they take it seriously the first day the Shannons were there they had a class on survival.

I don't find the sixers very threatening...especially since they are apparently low on ammo with low tech stuff on their side.

I just realized their leader was the secretary Christian Bale plays golf with in "Batman Begins".

The wife and son are so freaking annoying. Every time the wife is in a scene for too long I zone out because she just bugs the every living crap out of me.

Wife's ex boyfriend....pointless.

Daughter's security guard boyfriend...pointless.

Son...pointless (the girl that likes him is waay more interesting)

This show is so meh it's starting to make me mad. Where is the show going? Why is it taking a full season to get there?

How seriously do they take when teenagers are sneaking out routinely for picnics and water sports? They even have a little girl roaming around the jungle in one episode. It's all very casual.

They go during the day, those same teenagers who were casual about being in the jungle were having panic attack at night. Just because you'd be terrified of the jungle doesn't mean everybody would feel the same way.

I see, so the average person wouldn't be terrified of a jungle filled with enormous carnivores that could eat them alive at any moment? Right.

Most of them are not average people they are suppose to be the best of the best. These are the kind of people who live in the jungle to live with gorrilas. It sounds insane to most people but that's how they choose to live their life.

To my understanding, they aren't supposed to be "average" people....they are like Starfleet personnel sent off on an extended mission...the best of the best.

I think the show is uneven but I'm still interested and Stephen Lang is awesome. Tomorrows ep looks good.
