As for the meteor thing, I don't think humans have ever given much thought to events that are supposed to happen in 20 million years
The series premiere of Fox's Terra Nova drew a 3.0 adults 18-49 rating from 8-10pm on Monday. That was below what a majority of our polled readers expected, and has to be disappointing for Fox.
Very unimpressed. The CG is poor (even for TV standards, at least to my eyes) , I don't care for the characters (thus far) and I really want the son to get eaten soon.
Wasn't it on 8-10? That's late?
When you have to get up at 5am? yes.
I was rooting for the dinosaurs to eat more of the people. The show need more Cha-Ka.

Cha-Ka needs to be introduced real soon.
If the only reason why they think it's a different timeline is a lack of evidence millions of years later...then...well...things happen in millions of years. It's entirely possible that a meteor, ice age and other weathering factors will destroy most evidence of the settlements, while the few survivors will go on to have new populations in Egypt where eventually the pyramids will be built, those copper rods in those mountains will be placed etc (there's plenty of stuff that science cant explain right now) until eventually the last traces of technology and advancement in math, science etc will disappear.

Why not him? The little girl needs someone to adventure with.
