Jubilee's main purpose was to be Wolverine's somewhat helpless sidekick.

That role was already filled by Rogue is X1.

There's no need for Jubilee and cramming mutants into the X-films just as fan service usually ends badly.

Jubilee's powers can be adapted just fine. It's colored explosions, you can do a tone of stuff with that visually. Especially since she can change the shape and power level.

I think that's more a faded black jacket with yellow undertones.

I would imagine she hasn't been "featured" because her powers themselves as traditionally interpreted aren't particularly useful to any of the plots that the X-films have used, unlike a lot of the other mutants who have been featured, even in small roles. They're sort of just "powers".

Don't know if that makes any sense...

Well I come from school that Jubilee Is a poor man's kitty pryde.

In comics she was mainly Wolverine's sidekick untill she was pushed to side In school and after wolverine left mansion after fatal attractions storyline they shipped her off to Generation X.

I realize she has some fans but she often came off as anoying on animated show.

She's great against Vampires haha. Actually Dazzler can be very powerful, visually you can do a lot of cool things with her.

There are no teen characters in the present time right now. She makes complete sense to use when your dealing with younger students. Kitty and Rogue are in their late 20's/ early 30's, so they can't be in those roles. Kitty is a teacher now.

Dazzler can create shields, holograms, sound disorientation and photon blasts.

Her and Jubilee's similarities are more related to the variation of color their power gives off.

Dazzler and Jubilee could be awesome in film if they are given the chance or a good story. Anyway, its not like they are a D-list character like Angel Salvadore... they are pretty much one of the most well-known female members of the X-Men, at least top ten. I'm open to seeing them (or for Jubilee, in the reboot).

They are far from identical though, especially once on screen. Jubliee can't do any of things I mentioned and I'd assume Dazzler's attacks would look more like lasers then explosions.

I can't see either of them being any more than a glorified cameo. Perhaps further down the road.

keeping jubilee in DOFP would've been perfect, why did they replace her with sunspot? First of all: they didn't even portrait his powers right, his power are from the solar sun, the SUN! It should've melted the sentinels. If they wanted a fire guy, they should've kept pyro. It would've been nice to see more familiar faces, but back to Jubilee: having her would've added another female character, and have more balanced characters. At least they considered her, but wasted opportunity. Grrr

DOFP would've been perfect for Jubilee. She could've replaced any of the pretty much non-speaking roles. I just don't think there is much for her to do, but I suppose it all depends on how the new characters are treated in Apocalypse and what the dynamic of the team is.

For familiarity's sake, I would have replaced Sunspot with Jubilee, Blink with Nightcrawler and Warpath with Angel and Bishop would have been the only *new* mutant in the future.

I thought Blink was one of the best parts of DoFP, so I definitely wouldn't have traded her out.

Agreed. It seems strange that so many of the X-Men would have "made it" anyway because they are in a post-apocolyptic world. It worked well that there were some new faces but Jubilee should have at least showed her powers in X1-X3.

Coclossus Iceman Kitty Rogue arent born yet in 83. I doubt Jubile does too. If some characters could be born earlier, so do you want to have Jubile or Angel as 10 yo children ?
