Dammit, what's with Cinemax constantly showing Batman Forever. I feel weirdly compelled to watch. :(

This is true, but I still wanted more. I still want more even if I didn't fall in love this time. Bourne has pretty much become American Bond, so I am always game for another one of his adventures.

Having read the Ludlum novels, that also kind of annoyed me about JB. There's an element in the novel-origin that's very dated (Carlos the Jackal) that I thought Greengrass could have tinkered with and utilised for a potential sequel trilogy. After Ultimatum it would have been interesting to see a nemesis or some sort of external threat drawing Bourne out from the shadows and take an active role again. We live in an age of really insane terrorism, so I would have liked to see the crew trying a make something out of that, as opposed to the half-assed Snowden commentary they went with.

Yeah, I'd like to see Bourne get a nemesis that's NOT the CIA/people who made him. He's got this truly insane skill set, and he didn't feel compelled to do anything with it, or help anyone, for 9 years?

I was literally skimming the channels... clicked it... then immediately found something else.

Am I the only one who enjoys all 4 of those Bat flicks? Forever is the least interesting, but I still enjoy it. Batman and Robin is one of the great unintentional comedies imo.

It also helps break the pattern of all the villains being old white guys in suits lol

No I agree, they all have their (different types of) entertainment values, lol.

If they make another film, I want this so much. Would have been a nice way to keep Landy around as well.

I think I'm about to do the same. Guess it's time for me to get on with my Gilmore Girls re-watch.

Memories. The one show my mother and I would sit down and watch together. She is so excited for the Netflix event.

Ha, my mom too. I normally e-mail her new trailers and things, but she actually e-mailed ME the Gilmore Girls Netflix teaser. I was like "aw, somebody's excited." When I visit for the holidays, I know what we'll be watching, lol.

if loving Batman & Robin makes someone more intelligent than me, then I will gladly call myself Gump.

Here's one so underrated it's obscure to most people... It's pretty much my zen music.

Ink (2009) - Jamin Winans

Starman has always had one of the most beautiful themes I've ever heard in a film and it's one of the few JC didn't do himself!
