I wonder how much those will cost. I will need to own the Ryu one. I hope they have some free alternates in the game, like the Alpha looks

The Ryu alt should've been his main for SFV. It's a great design.

I like it, too. Specially considering that he's always on the road.

so...what??

that means those preorder "Battle" costumes will be available to purchase as DLC later on?

if so, great! cuz I really want that Ryu want, but I'm preordering at Best Buy for the Cammy outfit. :drl:

More than ever, I need that Chun Li in my life. Speaking of that, she shows a lot more skin than the still pics suggest she looks topless from the back. Also, good job recreating Street Fighter animated movie.

The Ryu alt should've been his main for SFV. It's a great design.

Both Ryu and Chun-Li's should have been their main costumes and not DEC alts. If Ken gets a new look without it being a DC costume the Ryu and Chun-Li should have followed suit.

‘Street Fighter V’ to Get Live-Action Miniseries Tie-In Via Machinima http://bit.ly/1jMytzK

A live-action miniseries adaptation of video game “Street Fighter” is coming from its publisher, Capcom, and Machinima titled “Street Fighter: Resurrection.”

The series, which run five episodes on Verizon’s go90 app beginning in March, will tie into the hotly anticipated next release of the game franchise, “Street Fighter V.” “Street Fighter: Resurrections” will follow a character who has returned from the dead in the game, Charlie Nash.
The story is set 10 years after the events in previous Machinima series “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist.” Alan Mousi will play Charlie and Mike Moh and Christian Howard are reprising their roles as Ryu and Ken respectively.

Mousi’s Nash is targeting legendary “Street Fighter” champions for unknown reasons and Ryu and Ken are determined to find out why.

Capcom and Machinma’s partnership has proved fruitful in the past. “Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist” managed to pull in over 17 million views in aggregate across the 12 episodes of the series’ run. Although shorter, “Street Fighter: Resurrection” stands to do just as well with the returning inclusion of series icons Ken and Ryu, the fan favorite Charlie Nash, and the fact that this series is a tie-in to the popular fighting game rather than just being a standalone using the same characters.
“Street Fighter V” releases Feb. 16 on PS4 and PC and “Street Fighter: Resurrection” follows it in March.

Yoshinori Ono Hopes To Reset The Competitive Playing Field With Street Fighter V. December 8, 2015 . 6:30am

“I therefore decided to make a Street Fighter from scratch to completely level this playing field and get people to discover who the best players are all over again,” says Ono.

Yoshinori Ono and Capcom had a busy weekend with the reveal of new character F.A.N.G., and the Capcom Cup 2015. Following this year’s PlayStation Experience, Ono shared more on Street Fighter V, his vision for the franchise, and more. [Thanks, Shoryuken.]

[YT]Fh0PrEFTmrY[/YT]
In the LiveCast Conversation video, Ono talks about how he sees Street Fighter as a “stadium” that can provide people the tools and venue to play and compete, rather than just a game.

Ono also shares his vision of the future with Street Fighter V: “Personal opinions aside, some players just get better and more skilled over time, which results in the game being dominated by elite players.”

“I therefore decided to make a Street Fighter from scratch to completely level this playing field and get people to discover who the best players are all over again,” explains Ono.

Street Fighter V will launch on PlayStation 4 and PC on February 16, 2016. You can get a look at the game’s latest trailer that showcases all 16 of the launch characters in our earlier report.

Street Fighter V Producer Explains Why Some Of Its Cinematics Were Changed. December 9, 2015 . 3:30am

Street Fighter V executive producer Yoshinori Ono recently spoke about

the development team’s decision to change one of the risque cinematics that were an earlier build of the game.

Capcom has been tweaking and balancing various parts of Street Fighter V including the appearances of its characters. One notable recent change was for R. Mika’s “butt slap” for her Critical Art activation, which executive producer Yoshinori Ono discussed in an interview with UOL Jogos. [Thanks, Shoryuken.]

While there’s been plenty of discussion about why Capcom decided to change R. Mika’s cheeky butt slap cinematics, Ono explained that it was a decision that came solely within the development team:

“We didn’t make any change because of external influences. Those changes came up internally. We decided to remove [R. Mika’s butt slap] because we want the biggest possible number of people to play, and we don’t want to have something in the game that might make someone uncomfortable.”

The Street Fighter producer went on to explain that while they can’t possibly remove everything that may be offensive to everyone, their goal is to try to reduce it as much as possible.

Street Fighter V will launch on PlayStation 4 and PC on February 16, 2016. Yoshinori Ono also recently spoke about his hopes to reset the competitive playing field with the game, which you can check out in our earlier report.

I wants my big booty slap back. :cmad:

I want the slap back too. They're trying to please vocal minority and piss off majority of those who actually buy and play their games... :cmad:

Yeah I'll probably get a ps4 when this comes out which is funny cause my first PS3 game was super street fighter 4.

Looks at who is coming to Tekken 7.

[YT]ozB1YQuv39I[/YT]

That's random. It also seems like he's not just a guest character but ties directly into the story of 7 in some way.

From Reddit.

Mentioned briefly on stream. Ono (producer of SF4 and 5) said TxSF got scrapped so Capcom is allowing Namco to use Street Fighter characters and re-envision them. Akuma's officially canon in Tekken and more SF characters are coming supposedly in updates

That's sad. I wanted TKxSF. Oh well. This has me officially interested in TK 7 now though

what??!! TKxSF got scrapped??!! :(

well, hope to see Ryu, Cammy, and Ibuki in Tekken 7 or whatever.

Akuma is up there with Sub-Zero as my favorite gaming fighter... Tekken is my favorite fighting series.. This has me beyond excited.

i'd wait for an official announcement. every single time harada was asked about it this year, he said it was still coming.

hmmm......yeah. that's what I thought.

in fact, didn't they say it was pretty far into development, with the roster already decided, last time they commented on it?

so that's why it was surprising to hear it's been scrapped.

hopefully it's not, cuz I was really looking forward to it.
