But it's not early access. Early access is when you are given access to a game that's primarily not finished technically. SFV is definitely finished on a technical level. It's much more accurate to think of SFV as an ongoing service project over a single package.

Well, they ask for money now, but content is promised later. It was fair for betas, but for a release? I'm not so sure. I get why they released it now - they want it in EVO 2016. But ordinary players (majority) are not professionals, they want leisure time with their games. Of course they are angry/disappointed.

On another topic, the money system is out now, too.

One character will cost 100,00 FM. A character's story costume is 40,000 FM. Not super clear how much FM you get and how, but most people agree that you can get enough for one character completing all the story mode stuff right now, but that means you have to chose between characters and costumes unless you can get a lot of FM from online and dailies.

Zenny is the real money. $1=100 zenny. Characters are 600 zenny, costumes are 400 zenny (so $6 and $4 respectively). You can buy all the story costumes with zenny, but holy crap $4 for a single costume!? You got 4 for $3.99 in SFIV.

Sorry, I hate censorship, it's a big deal for me. All changes made the game worse from visual stand point. Faster cuts, different framing, FX, that covers certain areas... Disappoint, since I know how it looked initially. It was better. With a bit of spice, sure, but nothing extreme, worthy of censorship.

The only thing that was censorship was a close up of Mika smacking her ass and a close up on Cammy's crouch. That was it. I admit it was unnecessary, but...it didn't really change anything outside a close up on a butt and a crouch.

Well, the costumes thing isn't all that new. Capcom has been doing that since vanilla SFIV, though they were cheaper. But even then, you were forced to get a pack of four even if you only wanted a certain character.

You also get it from Survival Mode, and when dailies launch you'll get FM from that as well. Lots of conflicting reports about. Some are claiming they haven't been able to get that much, but others are saying they've easily gotten 200,000+ just in the short time it's been up and running.

I already have 50,000 from doing 4 or 5 story modes. Can't tell if they counted my Nash play though. The server dropped.

Easily. I played around 8 hours and I got only 3500 FM. But all of that only during online casual and ranking matches. I won about a dozen and 3000 for level 3 on my character.

All other modes - can't confirm, server constantly dropped me out.

I just read you get 160,000 from completing all the story modes, but it's just one time. You can't redo that. You also get FM from doing Survivial mode with a character one time, but you can do that once per difficulty (there are four). Not sure how much that nets you, though

If you're pro enough to do hard and hell survivals. I think it's fair, since you get FM for buying stuff, but I'm not happy they linked color unlock to this mode. It's too extreme.

That's almost every DLC character. But you'd have to skip all the in-game costumes, though.

I have never and never will like how they handle colors and alts in these games. I can see feeling the color unlocks being too extreme, but I have to try it first.

Speaking of goodness. I really like new stages. And story costumes for all characters. Especially Necalli one. Sold me the character.
