I would love to tell my mom back in the day that I was dropping out because I was bored. Just the look on her face before she decided to pull out the shotgun would have been priceless.

i just didn't go to class unless it was to turn something in or to take a test.

Honestly? I kind of understand how they feel. The best way to learn something is if you enjoy doing it or are otherwise self motivated to do it. That's how it's worked for me so far.

I understand not wanting to do something you're not really interested in. But it's not like there's other viable options out there. I doubt most of the good looking ones are good looking enough to be models or American Idols or whatever the **** it is people do these days. And the smart ones are still in school. So, unless they're related to money, they're ****ed.

I'm not doing another year of college beause its booring me senseless. Instead, I'm getting a job with plenty of training and promotion opportunites, where I can learn what I need for the job in a much more interesting way.

Most of them have no dropped out or got themselves into hairdressing and beauty therapy where they belong, but there are still some. I was talking to my chem teacher about gunpowder composition ratios and how it harldy ever reacts the same way because its so unstable, and the entire front row was just staring at me with 'wtf?' looks on their faces. Its basic stuff in terms of reaction rates, and they can't even comprehend it.
