Drama Succession (HBO)

This is a great show. I'm really surprised not more people are talking about it.

I honestly cant remember when last I watched a show that I knew nothing about going in (not watching any trailers ect) that grabbed my attention as much as Succession has has done.

Agreed. I knew nothing about this show going in but after the first episode I couldn't stop watching.

Given how the series ended,I'm really curios to see what direction the show head's into next season, I mean do they still keep the comedic part of it or do they tone that part down a bit.

I just started this, and I'm 4 episodes in, and I love it. Really great show, so far.

Personally I didn't like the way it ended. Personally I can't stand the step mom either.

Returning in August, trailer also just dropped.

Oh very nice, very nice indeed

S2 premier's tonight, new opening credits, I just love this shows ability to mix drama with satire. FB_IMG_1565527895176.jpg

Why has no one done an opening credits for this show using the Arrested Development credits?

Loved last nights episode, I have to think that despite Logan offering Shiv the position to take over as CEO in the future , I still think he's trying to groom Kendall to eventually replace him.

Also Jeremy Strong's performance the past 2 episodes has been fantastic.

Oh, easily. I'm sure the others see Kendall as floundering about, but still, he's failing upward. Logan seems to be setting Shiv up for a downfall, especially since she seems very eager to be CEO.

Also, Greg's place, though. His bedroom looks like it was built for a hobbit.

Those Vaulter headlines at the back of Roman. (also loved '“Is Every Taylor Swift Fanatic Secretly Marxist?”)

Good news. This year in particular, there are a lot of good shows either ending or being cancelled. Glad to see that Succession will continue for another season.

HBO must feel they have something special with Succession given how early they have renewed it.

Top 3 episode last night, 'Boar on the floor' has got to be one of the most messed up dinner table scenes since GOT's 'Red Wedding'

Boar On the Floor is going to be a series-defining moment for Succession. I would put good money on that. Greg better than his lucky stars that he didn't get found out. But then again, perhaps no one really would suspect him of all people.

Shiv is married to Tom, why?

He's just so desperate to fit in, he's willing to have himself humiliated as well as agree to having an open relationship with Shiv, just because Shiv does'nt think she can commit to one person

So why marry at all? He brings nothing to her table, really. :(

He really has become a 'Darth Vader' like figure to his father's 'Palpatine' over the course .of this season, doing all the dirty work for his dad ,while becoming less and less 'human' with each episode. It's just a fantasic peformance by Jeremy Strong.

James mcavoy and his xmen costar need to get a makeover like zac ferons very soon. It’s kind of annoying to see the same old faces in the same hairstyles
