it's probably my second favourite post on here...

heck, i think you actually hold my first favourite post as well...

i remember weren't you talking to someone about how peter parker's motivations to letting the killer go in the first film was vanity based (it's someone else's job) rather than revenge based (getting back the announcer for not paying him) and that is how they screwed up the character right from the start?

that's been my favourite post on this board so far and i'm fairly sure it was you who said it.

I remembering arguing that and my position being that they tried to give Peter an unnecessary justification for letting the robber go, rather than Peter's lack of action being because of his own hubris/apathy as is traditional to the story, which was lame.
