Suicide Squad miniseries

So does that solicitation up there mean that Firestorm's gonna be in the Suicide Squad now?

Doubt it. Firestorm has always had a strong connection to the Suicide Squad title though.

He was going through a rough time a few years back and he caught himself considering permanent solutions to temporary problems.

Digging that cover to issue # 3.

I enjoyed the first issue so I'll see what the second one brings. If anything it has me interested in checking out Suicide Squad back issues.

Meh, if it screws up continuity just stamp Elseworld on it and call it a day. :oldrazz:

Really? How?
Ostrander, basically. Ostrander wrote Firestorm at the time and would at times introduce some villains in Firestorm first, to later be used in the Suicide Squad. Stalnoivolk (The Steel Wolf), for example, was introduced in Firestorm, The Nuclear Man #67 and became a regular member/foe of the Squad team afterwards.

it's funny how the word "foe" is interchangeable with "member" when it comes to the suicide squad... i mean, look at Duchess...

I finally read this issue, and my god, it actually got me aroused. This could've fit perfectly into the original series.
