...discuss! hehe

By watching it on the big screen I could point out what looked real and what was CGI, when the DVD comes out I know die hards are going to be analyzing frame by frame.

hey they had an article like this on Batman Begins around this time last year

I can only think of a few scenes, and that's b/c I saw the Behind the Scenes.

no, they actually had a guy glide and swing around Chicago....hehe

of course there as CGI in Batman, there's CGI in most summer movies.

Batman Begins is i think one of the best use of CG in a film because it doesnt reveal itself to be CG. Superman didnt really have a choice, you knew it was CG but thats beacause of common sense.

Batman doesn't fly and can't lift a ton.......that's why there's not much CGI in the movie.

The movie was very realistic in that way.

You guys know my feelings on the CG. Clumsy animation and easily detectable CG.

"Only a few baseball players, 30 extras used for lighting reference, and the ground are real in this sequence. But for a few close-up shots of Superman, everything is digital."

I think thats pretty impressive, if I read the article right.

There were only three shots that reeked on CGI to me. Which isn't bad.

The CGI in Superman Returns was amazing! Granted you could tell when it was CGI and when it was real, but still...there were some shots that were just amazingly animated, paticulary the CGI closeups of Routh.

The flying supes was too CGI looking for my tastes.

Actually, there a whole scene that is digitally done in CGI in BATMAN BEGINS.

Much of Batman dangling from the monorail in the films climax, not to mention the monorail itself were incredibly done in CG.
