The cops were F'n awesome. Out of all these comedy movies that have been coming out this one is actually really funny.
It was all right. It wasn't 40 Year Old Virgin, but it was all right. These types of suburban teen comedies never really do it for me as I'm not really the demographic, so I'm biased in that sense. I think the humor comes from them just acting like they're doing this ad-lib thing for the whole movie, which can be funny, but it got tedious after a while. I think every guy has been in Evan's place with the drunk chick willing to go all out...and you suddenly feel bad about it.

and how come whenever someone on these forums sees a movie they didn't like, somehow the whole theater they were in didn't like it, either; and visa versa? i call shenanigans.
havent seen it yet but does it compare to the other apatow films
40 yr old virgin or knocked up?
on par, if not better... depending on your taste.
You can say it.
It was better.
Like I said it my previous post, the trailers made it seem like it was raunchy like American Pie, now I saw The 40 Year Old Virgin on HBO and thought it was funny but for R-rated comedies I'm expecting sick twisted sex gags and not some sappy coming of age teen comedy like Superbadi'd love to know what the people who didn't think this was funny do think is funny.
I went to a 1:55 pm showing to a theater thats next to a mall and the room wasn't that packed.and how come whenever someone on these forums sees a movie they didn't like, somehow the whole theater they were in didn't like it, either; and visa versa? i call shenanigans.
i mean i cant believe anyone wouldnt think this movie was funny. if you ever went to highschool, some of the situations were spot on, unlike american pie... not raunchy comedy??? apparently you missed 1/2 of the movie...
Superbad was easily the best movie ive seen this summer... def in my top 5 comedies, i should say top 3.
McLovin is Classic.

I enjoyed it more than Knocked Up.
