All I have to say is WTF?

I can't even really make a summary of this issue - At least not a good one but I'll explain why I'm all "...."

First I thought that this Rogue 'true child' was SBP throwing a fit in Kandor - But then I started thinking, as I read this issue, it's sounding a lot like Zod with what he says and how he talks.

But at the end a figure is revealed - It's Saturn Queen
She refers to this 'Fake Kal-El' as her son and states "Finally a suitible match for my son" speaking about Kara - Who btw beat the **** out of him right before kissing him.

Anyone else thinking "What the ****"
Because I am.

Supergirl? Not make sense?

Get out;):p.

i read issue 6 and i truely did not understand what the **** this book is about. why are they in kandor? why is there a kandor still around? i dont understand how these characters can be in different worlds/dimensions at the same time.

The reason Supergirl doesn't make sense is because DC doesn't want you to read it. So, make DC happy. Don't buy Supergirl. Both DC and your brain will thank you for it.

Well.........technically, thet aren't related. She's not really his cuz or sister. Boy....that was kinda...............hot. I feel dirty.

In a weird way it makes sense. She's even more compatible than Diana.

:supes:

someone on the DC boards was speculating that the fake Kal-El is
Ultraman from the Crime Syndicate

He palmed that booty didn't he??

Didn't the Bruce and Clark from the "Absolute Power" arc in Superman/Batman call Saturn Queen "Mom"?

Hey.....you're right.

Could be that Kal El. Certainly seems like it at least. Saturn Queen kind of gave it away.

I'll have to go read it again, because I thought it was SBP. :(

It got kind of harried at the end.

Supergirl has been pretty **** so far OYL with the lateness and such :( :down
the storyline is way to confusing and bad, SG&LOSH has been much better.

I thought this issue was really easy to understand.

Apparently, I'm just smarter than you.

.......................................
I remain a hater of the "new/old" Supergirl with this issue just adding insult to injury.

Sigh,.... Maybe this is what she needs to straighten her out,....

In any event two canidates on "Kal-El"

1. Ultraman from the Syndicate.
2. Elseworlds Superman from that arc that had Batman / Superman raised by Saturn queen.

Unless that blond haired ex-kyrptonian cop has dyed his hair and been brainwashed to be the one he hates,...

but wasn't that still the core Superman? when the timestream was finally restored, he still had memories of killing Diana.

According to Wikipedia it is Ultraman
Still kinda ****ed that she's making out with an alternative reality of her cousin.

Wikipedia said:
In One Year Later we learn that Ultraman has been controlling Kandor under his birthname, Kal-El. He has been using the help of a group of followers called the Praisesingers and the guidance of the "Holy Mother". Supergirl and Powergirl have been fighting his efforts causing his cult like following to falter.

And Leaguer, I understood the book in theory I had just assumed automatically that it was the B/S Clark since Saturn Queen made an appearance, which is impossible because those were the core Batman/Superman and that time-stream was compleatly erased save for the memories that the core Batman/Superman share of those lives

which doesn't make sense either given according to Grant Morrison's Earth 2 Ultraman isn't Kryptonian but rather an astronaut whose genetic structure was rebuilt by aliens.

anyone know if that was retconned?

Who know's what's going on Post-OYL/IC
A simple text bubble is what taught us that the guy who killed Batman's parents was captured according the Post-IC. They don't really give any warning anymore when they erase something

man, DC continuity sucks post-Infinite Crisis. someone on the DC boards suggested that the original Earth-3 Ultraman somehow survived when he flew into the void during the original Crisis, and that that's who's in this issue.

Wasn't that the point of erasing all the alternate worlds, in COIE AND in Infinite Crisis? To get rid of all those people? I thought Power Girl was the only one who was supposed to survive the multiverse, besides E2 Supes and Lois, Alex Luthor, and SBP. That Anti-Monitor guy ****ed up big time.

Plus it would really suck if it was SBP who was the fake Kal. Bang up job, Green Lanterns. And where the hell is Kandor, anyway? Still shrunk in a bottle in the Fortress?

Ask me, someone should just step on Kandor. Superman isn't the Last Son Of Krypton if there's an entire city of his ilk running around.

I think she's the most compatible with Superman. ...in a sick twisted kinda' way. :(

ok i never read anything about kandor before, and im guessing ther're going to explain how super and power girl ended up there, althought it was kind of already hinted at in this issue, because she didnt want to hurt clark....but can some one explain what kandor is, and whats the history of it, and how come another superman rules it...
thanks
