Hmmm. Was not expecting that, but I guess I can see why they would need to do something besides make Cat and Kara all lovey-dovey. If they make Cat disbelieve, then re-believe at some point down the road, the second revelation might feel cheaper and it will just feel like her belief is on a yo-yo.

I like Cat and Kara's weird relationship, and these are the same writers who gave us that relationship in the first place, so here's trusting they'll handle this right.

You said what I was trying to say, but better.

However, that great scene on the balcony, when Cat tells Kara to take off her glasses, was a major squee moment for me, and I'm a little afraid that trying to backtrack out of that moment, and reverse it, will cheapen it somehow. So, I'm torn about this.

I've loved almost everything the writers have done so far, so as I said, I'll just trust them. (Not that I have much choice! )

I would much rather have Cat stay in the know, I don't mind some back and forth on the issue between her and Kara...that can actually be fun to watch. I love how they play off of each other as it is, so that could add a new dynamic. I'm not into the whole "mind wipe" thing either.

I have a feeling this is when Martian man hunter help out kara with impersonating her and it'll allow her to work for cat with out cat thinking she's one and the same as super girl. yeah I know alot of people like this but it also ind anger cat to a degree beside it just being that kara doesn't like it.

And the more people that know the harder it is for even larger crowds to find out and more people like reactron will come to town onl they will head straight to her apartment building. and I doubt cat can take interrogation or the worst type of is like shown on arrow for example.

Also team super girl and kara her self have to try to stop letting it slip she's super girl in the first place it's one of the thing they have in common with the flash but barry's also gone a bit to far with admitting to every frend or foe that' the flash is Barry allen by always unmasking him when the villain is just guessing too.

I enjoyed the secret identity “duel” scene between Kara and Cat. Some nice acting by both Benoist and Flockhart. But trying to close this door once it’s opened (“refuting Cat’s allegations”) strikes me as weak - especially if a comic book-y trope (like a Supergirl impersonator) is used to quell Cat’s suspicions.

On the other hand… pretty much the only person “human Kara” has a relationship with is Cat (everyone else knows the secret). So preserving the ruse (somehow) and maintaining the status quo has some merit.

Saw the trailer for next week's new ep...AND MAN AM I HYPED! Even saw in a treasure chest a cute American Girl type doll dressed as Supergirl. The Toyman brings his playthings, Cat knows Kara's secret and Kara is shocked at her new ally.

Yeah, she said in an interview that it is really funny how she finds out, so she didn't give any kind of clue so that we would all be surprised. I think it is going to be a lot of fun to watch them work together.

Jonn has a line that talks about her looking like a Cheerleader and him being....well, big and green. hahahaha, should be fun.

I can totally see where you are coming from, I just don't want a "mind wipe" scenario...IF she is not going to stay in the know, then do it through MM shape shifting and flying, NOT a "mind wipe". Mainly because I think it would be fun for Cat to have that in the back of her mind, but still having to come to terms with seeing Kara beside her, and Supergirl flying above her. As far as Kara telling everyone, I just don't see that happening. She has told 1 person thus far...others already knew. But, yes I don't really want more people knowing I think her little group is good enough for her to be the type of superhero she wants to be.

Yes, it looks like they are going to mine Kara being shocked at an alien for laughs, playing off the fact she is one but he is the classic green man variety.
