LYNDA CARTER (“WONDER WOMAN&#8221 LANDS IN NATIONAL CITY AS PRESIDENT OLIVIA MARSDIN — An attack is made on the President (guest star Lynda Carter) as hot-button, alien vs. human rights issues heat up in National City. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and the DEO are assigned to protect the President and bring in the responsible party. Alex (Chyler Leigh) teams up with Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) to investigate the case while Kara searches for a recently escaped Mon-El (Chris Wood), who she fears may be the alien behind the assault. Although I am starting to think have they scrapped the Kara Jimmy relationship so they can start an angle with Mon El? I certainly hope not.

I always loved Maggie Sawyer, she is a capable intelligent woman who was also the captain of the SCU and happened to be gay.....and this was all the way back in the 80s, I mean talk about progressive.

I found the phrasing of the President's first lines to J'onn kinda odd. Is it just me?
Also, I think there are some minor cuts in the scene.

Honestly, I loved Tyler's Superman and want to see more of him ASAP, but I'm excited about this episode because it feels like it's the real start of the season and the arcs/new characters they had planned, while those 1st two Superman eps were like a fun little prologue.
