The Dark Knight Superhero cameos?!

Hey Bat-fans, what do you all think of having cameos by some Dc comic heroes? Do you think it's possible? List here your thoughts.

not likely in a Nolan Bat film. so long as it's kept grounded in reality, we're not going to see any one who might develop "super" powers or is an alien. then again, Spider-Man was kinda like that until #3 with a giant guy made of sand and some creature goo.

Honestly...? I don't see it happening. At all. Not that there couldn't be a way to make it work of course, but I still don't see it happening. Instead of cameos, perhaps small mentionings of a hero/heroine's name would work better. Or even one of an already established city in the DCU, (Star City, Keystone City, etc).

But no to camoes.

Nolan’s "realism" can be succinctly stated as an attempt to place extraordinary characters into our known reality. In that reality there are no meta-humans: physics defying aliens, immortal princesses, and faster-than-light speedsters exist only in a fantasy realm. Batman may be an improbability in our world but unlike these other fantasy characters he is not an impossibility. The “DC Universe” is an Elseworld in my mind. The Batman I am interested in exists in an authentic human world. The extent to which a fantastical meta-world manifests itself in Batman’s world—especially one like Nolan’s that is meant to take place in our reality—correlates directly with my lack of interest in it.

I would like a mention of Metropolis like there was of Gotham in Superman Returns.

-A mention of Bludhaven
-A poster or billboard of the "Flying Graysons"
-Gordon to mention his son and 8 year old niece.
-I would like a funeral for Falcone...after Joker or Two-Face kills him and have Selina Kyle there.
-A news stand selling the "Gotham Globe" and "The Daily Planet".
-Talk about Wayne Enterprises competition in the form of Janus Cosmetics (Roman Sionis aka Black Mask's family company) and LuthorCorp.
-A scientist in Wayne Enterprises named either: Dr. Victor Fries or Kurt Langstrom.
-A movie billboard starring Basil Karlo.

Nothing big...just little homages and nods like this. They don't even have to go anywhere, much like Dr. Curt Connors in Spider-man 2 and Spider-man 3. Same with Gwen Stacey and George Stacey. They are there to expand the universe, not to die or become the Lizard...it just shows an appreciation for the characters.

something simple, like, alfrid (or maybe even Gordon) is talk to Bruce (or, batman if its Gordon obviously), pulls out a newspaper, throws it down on table, your theatrics have inspired others

bringing down mobsters (or something like that)

No cameos. I don't give a **** about anybody but Batman. Except when I go see Spider-Man 3. Then I don't give a **** about anybody but Spider-Man.

Seriously? No cameos.

I would not object to something subtle like somebody selling or reading a Daily Planet in the background, or a mention of another DC city (doesn't even have to be Metropolis... be more subtle, say Keystone City or something. Only us really GOOD geeks know that one. )

I don't mind subtle things like that. But I also don't want them shoehorned into the dialogue for no good reason.

Batman Forever's "The circus must be halfway to Metropolis by now!" was pushing it. The Gotham reference in Superman Returns was so seamless I have never noticed it in four viewings.
