edit: How did you get the chord to go off the canvas? In Illustrator, I have a hard time with canvas size.

it is a hard image to figure out i hear, so here is another picture if youve never heard of it, or the show

it really is a great show though, they just started it up again on adultswim on saturday nights at like 1:30


and as far as the canvas goes, i just build it on a 8x11 sheet, then when i save for web i go with a giff file, only saves the image, i forgot to cut the cord off so it wouldnt show........i might go back to that one and change it around a little. didnt think people would be haven this big a problem with it.

It fits perfectly with the text, going in or out, it goes 'outside the box' just like the quote, it's brilliant

picture quality tip:

Try saving your image as a GIF, it works well with the "iPod concept" because it uses a small pallet of colors. When you save it as a JPEG with too much compression you get that weird blury effect that takes away for the quality of the picture.

do you draw the earphone wire? like with pencil or paintbrush tool?

Some draw it with the pencil/brush tool. Some use the pen tool in Photoshop/Illustrator or any equivalent in their respective programs. Using the pen tool, though, manages to get a much smoother and realistic-looking wire than trying it freehand with the brush/pencil. It takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of the anchor points.
